  1. I used to fucking hate Frank Lampard -give him dogs abuse -Frank Lampard senior that is, when we played the pikeys
  2. OK easy boys Henrique this is a rhetorical question that has slipped into English football folklore since it was uttered by a pundit years ago. Manuf did not mean it literally
  3. Both intelligent footballers -a rarity that makes all the difference. Both different styles -Zidanes intense moody style portrayed by documentaries with poetic commentary , slow motion playbacks with sad music, always added to the mystique. But I would rather have Frank away at Bolton....
  4. Read this first as Mourinho puts on Chelsea Shirt http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2013/jan/14/jose-mourinho-chelsea-alert-return
  5. It was hypothetical situation that Toronto mentioned, I am not advocating it as FIFA policy. However if I ran a football authority I would make it fucking mandatory that they earn there filthy lucre not from just poncing about in the technical area, and if they fucked up they would have to work there way up from the lower eschelons..... *maniacal laugh*
  6. Fucking hell I am getting ganged up on by Brazilians here, supposed to be going there for the World cup as well....
  7. Whats hypocritical about it ? A lower league manager does the same as a top manager but it is a lot more difficult at the bottom. The Macdonalds analogy is ridiculous. Its a different job from a top manager altogether.
  8. Well googled about Murdoch Exactly City sacked Hughes, and the same will happen to Mancini if its a trophyless season. We shall see where Guardiola goes, but saying Man City is the ''last team he would go to'' is a bit unlikely
  9. Too true. They never take on real challenges, which, if they are supposed to be so good at what they do, you'd think one or two would swallow their pride and help a lower club out. You or I could manage at Man City with unlimited resources, wear a city scarf, and it helps if you speak in broken English, and use ''This is Football'' in sticky situations
  10. The Sun is owned by someone who lives in NYC. Why would he choose City above an ''Italian giant''.? Lots of money for one, 3 ex-Barca men on Man Citys board for another, and unlimited transfer funds for another reason. Theres also the small detail of being left to manage without some owner interfering and getting the sack three months down the line. But if you see them as the ''one team in the World '' that he wont go to' thats fine., I personally doubt he'd consider Crewe. Arent football forums great ?
  11. Christ how could I have been so stupid ? if only I could have seen my criticism of an overpaid footballer equates to supporting suicide bombers.
  12. Its not a kind of pathological condition, its based on reasoned assessments of attending games. Only my opinion, but shared by many American meaningless cliches can be quoted glibly, but really are stupid
  13. He was frustrating today - yes he scored, but twice rather than passing across the six yard box for a tap in he chose to blast into the side netting.
  14. Theres never much else in the media. However I dont think its a coincidence Man City now have 3 ex-Barca men on the board
  15. Never thought Sturridge was right for Chelsea and said so from the begining. Too hit and miss, greedy, crap first touch -he thought he was a star before he did the hard work. Not his fault though -if anything he is over confident, been told he was going to be the best in England since the age of 13. That said he will probably go on to fulfil expectations now
  16. AVB had to go. I was at his last game and Chels were joining in with West Brom singing ''getting sacked in the morning''. Proper fan power. Buck was resoundly booed coming on the pitch against Swansea, a bad decision on his part, his Ceasescu moment - what did he think people were going to do, clap ? I cant see the bit where you were called a child rapist -did you report it ?- i know there havent been many Admin on here recentlyand I dont have th e power to ban , but apologise on behalf of the forum if this was the case. Anyway back on track, Lampard must stay at Chelsea....
  17. I dont see what part the board played in this -apart from Gourlay pushing to the front to lift the trophy like a greedy Billy Bunter in a sweet shop. Anyone who isnt an arse licker. The fans arent stupid, and it was obvious Buck was going to get resoundly booooed when he came on the pitch against Swansea. The Youth team to my mind is window dressing. yes it makes money by lending and loaning players but thats about the sum of it.. if it wasnt for the FFP rulings, Abramovich would continue to buy off the shelf superstars I am guessing but I'd imagine if you were on this forum when Mourinho walked you'd have agreed with Buck when he said ''Avram Grant will take Chelsea to the next level'' Yes people can be who they want on the internet. You've lost me with the child rapist bit. Someone called you that on here ?
  18. Self made or someone who positioned himself round a permanently drunk Yeltsin to seize public assets at a knockdown price, then buy a club in the UK to avoid any possible extradition ? Then why sack AVB ? I criticize the board because like other fans I pay their wages. Intrigued to hear you enlighten us with their 'achievemnets'. Hysterical to think Lampard has 'power'at the club . theres not the slightest evidence. If Abramovich is paranoid over player power its his fault for having no consistency in managers. You seem to get off on arguing the toss with the consensus of Chelsea fans just for the sake of it -''Rafas a good appointment, Lampard must go, the sun shines out of the boards arse ....'' Strange. You must have some lively debate in the Matthew Harding Stand....
  19. Again you think Abramovich wants the club to become self-sufficient. To me he is an immature billionaire who would rather have a Roy of the Rovers type club and buy Shevchenko and Torres type players, surrounded by yes men, whos chucks managers about like used tissues. For that reason Guardiola wont be coming unless hes a short term mercenary. The board who i know you defend, are lining their own pockets and doff their caps to Abramovich. Ferguson by all accounts wants Lampard. If Lampard was at United, and Ferguson wanted him to stay theres no way the board at United, or the Glazers would get involved. The autocratic power we are dealing with at CFC is top down from an owner who has that same lost look in his eyes as Torres, but has people saying 'Yes Roman, three bags full Roman'. Thats why it doesnt seem odd when Rafa says 'I dont know what will happen with Lampard'. He doesnt have a say, which comes back to why Mourinho left, and why later because of castrated managers there was a vacuum filled by player power.
  20. So youre basing your non -hysterical view points on what you think next season will all be about. The next manager will be a 'Watershed' moment. Based on what ? What you think will happen ? Even though according to media reports today the saviour you reckon is coming ,Guardiola, is going to Man City. i prefer to live in the here and now and it all points to keeping Chelseas greatest player. It doesnt mean he has to play week in week out -but as long as his massive contribution continues you have to be insane or a troll to say get rid.
