  1. The other thing about the Talk Chelsea forum is that by its very nature -it's international. If there are some parochial nationalist Chelsea fans here that take exception to foreign partcipants, there are other forums that cater for 'English' types. I for one welcome the sheer diversity of this forum -we even have that Scottish bastard Changingman 2000 on here now and again....
  2. OK Keep it civil guys. Threads like this have cropped up around three times on TC since 2005. They are always heated, but lets have constructional debate. I am of the opinion that there are fans in other countries that havent been to the Bridge that are more 'worthy' fans than some of the morons that go there. People like Steve the Admin bloke (who has made the pilgimage and has a shirt /memorabilia collection to die for), and Francozola in Singapore. There are others. You just have to check out the Phillipines Supporters -fucking Chelsea mental. I am also of the opinion that fans should at least make an attempt to visit SW 6, as muslims have a duty to visit mecca
  3. Jose quiz; I got 8 out of 8 (did guess one). I am a special one http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/quiz/2013/jun/09/jose-mourinho-quiz
  4. Good player and would be good in a Chelsea shirt but so far hes been called, Tottenham, cunt, monkeyman, Welsh so until he plays for us he is a .. Spuds Welsh Monkey Cunt. . . . .
  5. No question the success on the pitch in the last 10 years is the best of Chelseas history. However the fans experience home and away now is far and away eclipsed by the experience of the 80s and 90s. The camaraderie, humour, and sheer numbers made it totally memorable, even if we were shit.
  6. All good contributors and hard to slip a rizla between them We Hate Scouse shades it for having the best ever user name -and that memorable invasion of a Liverpool board -genius
  7. Incredible all the speculation and people in the 'know'. 'Jose wants this, Jose wants that, he don’t get on with so and so, he wants to bring in, he wants to sell this bloke' If Jose was so predictable and everyone knows what he is thinking or plans to do would he really be one of the most successful managers in the past 12 years? Social media, Facetwiiter, and corporate media awash with speculative bollox.
  8. Odds have certainly shortened in the last week For the Prem -Yernited 2/1 - Citeh 12/5- Chels 12/5....next........Arse 18/1
  9. Day trippers shirt now available http://www.chelseamegastore.com/stores/chelsea/products/product_details.aspx?pid=1001737 Do they realise Special is current shorthand parlance for 'Special Needs ' ?
  10. Good signings for them I rate Ferdandinho -Navas probably got confused with Malaga/Manchester -he was homesick before. But it looks like they will be spending around £100m mark as usual -come on Roman get yer cheque book out.
  11. TALKSPORT this morning; Liverpool fan : "Why aren't Chelsea fans celebrating outside the ground!?" Presenter: "Maybe they've got jobs?!" :D
  12. Think youre right Rmpr. Hes pretty good for a negative, boring tactician...
  13. Well done -some things are worth repeating ! He's also the first coach in Spanish history to manage a team who've scored over 100 goals for three consecutive seasons.
  14. How is this for a Mourinho stat ? His home league record as manager (with Benfica, Uniao de Leiria, Porto, Chelsea, Inter & Real Madrid) - P214 W175 D35 L4
  15. Brilliant interview with the Man of the Moment http://m.guardian.co.uk/theguardian/2013/jun/01/frank-lampard-interview-book-frankies-magic-football

  17. 43 Today -HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROBERTO !! :blue scalf:
  18. Hasn't been said for a while, but it needs to be said that this is the Best Chelsea forum out there. Easy to take for granted, but lets remember what a great job Jim and the Staff have done.
  19. They are right about the food being shit though !
  20. Premier League soccer is growing ever more popular worldwide. A survey by Britain’s national tourism agency in 2011 found that about 900,000 tourists — 61,000 of them American — attended games that season. The league broadcasts to 212 territories for a possible reach of 720 million homes, with more and more Americans watching the games. ''It will be noisier than you are used to. Emotions will be higher than they are at home. The food will be awful. People will be drunk. The weather will be bad. Many of the supporters, even the ones cheering the loudest, will not appear to be having fun as we know it, and will be expressing their feelings in novel combinations of swear words. The discomfort, the din, the rudeness, the cleverness, the chanting, the verbal abuse, the unalloyed ecstasy, the abject despair, the love, the hatred — all these are part of the ritual.....'' Sounds like an advert for Green Street, wheres Frodo ?? http://www.nytimes.com/2013/05/21/sports/soccer/a-guide-to-attending-a-premier-league-game.html?pagewanted=1&_r=2&smid=tw-share&
  21. I cant see anywhere where youve been told to fuck off. Your posts could be construed quite clearly as racist eg ''have some curry''. That is something we will not tolerate. You have been warned
