Can Chelsea do it on a cold, windy night in Stoke?
Fulham Broadway replied to Jase's topic in Chelsea Articles
Its going to be a bit windy, but not cold, quite mild. So 3 points for us. -
quote name="Laylabelle" post="1026963" timestamp="1418945270"]Oh dear :-P. Still cracks me up bout the guy sat with me n my mum once. His logic was men play football so makes sense for them to watch it whereas woman knit and give birth so should watch that instead ...not sure of the logic lol . .

Sacrilege away fans allowed in the shed. They never took it before redevelopment, though the yids reckon they did, and then ironically the club allows them in after introduction of seating

One too many.

I am sure it will happen mate, thanks for letting us know. Some things are way more important than football.

Was hoping Loic scored then Alex could have had: Rampant Remy Rapes Rams -
Was mentioned on BBC r5. I wanted him to be our first signing when Abramovichs billions arrived

Thought he retired ages ago

Thiery ' Onry -thought he retired ages ago ? Anyway brilliant player but during his height it was the period when we never beat them, ever, so fucking hated him

Cant see many changes for Derby tbh. The sheer risk of playing relatively untried yoof is a gamble worth 10s or 100s of millions of pounds. This is an uncertainty no business will take. I can never get all sentimental and romantic about 'josh' or RLC. Chelsea is not some charity for lovely Barnados kids, it is now a ruthless business with a brand followed by accolytes all over the world. It will only employ the proven for almost every match. Goldman Sachs or JP Morgan Chase are not going to give their Senior Investment Analyst positions to young blokes fresh out of college with economics degrees. They have to be seasoned brokers. Same with our club, the board would never risk silverware and millions of pounds on unproven staff.

Chelsea to pay the Living Wage

Go for those jobs http://www.compasseventjobs.com/employer_profile.aspx?pid=335 -
We're good enough to take them all on tbh. Make no mistake, nobody wants to meet us before the final.

Chelsea are the first Premier League club to pay ALL staff who work at the club the Living Wage This has to be commended. ''The UK living wage of £7.85 per hour, £9.15 per hour in London, is assessed by Loughborough University’s Centre for Research in Social Policy, for the campaign body Citizens UK, as the minimum needed for people to provide for themselves and a family. The legal minimum wage set by the government is substantially lower: £6.50 per hour for adults, £5.13 for 18-20-year-olds and £3.79 per hour for those under-18, with no London weighting.'' Well done.

FFS not again. Nice bunch chucking missiles at our disabled fans

Asked whether Chelsea had made a mistake in letting Lampard go, as he netted another winner for City at Leicester on Saturday, Mourinho was initially terse. “It’s his life, nothing to do with us,” he said. “He left Chelsea as a free agent and chooses his life, we can't complain about it. That’s football.” But the Blues' boss then went on to go far deeper into the reasons behind the split than he has yet mentioned. He said: “My view is that when you want to look forward, look for the future and have people like Fabregas and Matic and Oscar which are the next 10 years of the club, and the project is prepare for the next 10 years not for the next year, we made the right decision. Think hes right there, but hes also covering the boards arse.

I liked those. There was a time in the 80s almost every ground had them, along with inflatable bananas. Went to Chelsea v Newcastle in 1983 and it was a sea of massive hands pointing at the barcode fans

Brilliant. I will take a selfie in one of these. http://m.chelseamegastore.com/stores/chelsea/mobile/products/product_details.aspx?pid=107848

Best moment of the season so far?
Fulham Broadway replied to BlueLion.'s topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Putting the other London pretenders ie yids and goons in their place. Impressed with the unexpected 0-5 drubbing of Schalke 04, but the accolade has to be the win at Shitfield......and ..... ... ..being Top of the League -
You do get a few daytrip booooers and mong tourists tutting, but its not collective like Gale and the media would have us believe. One of the funniest was when I heard some tourist behind me say to his fellow journeyman "so which one is Alan Crespo ?"
-
I detest our lads diving and also feel embarrassed by diving. Let's not get hung up on it though just because the media choose us as the scapegoat for a campaign. I see it game in game out by players from all clubs and the media, are very selective when they come out with critism. With that in mind I say...fuck em all. WE'RE TOP OF THE LEAGUE.
