I would rather see him develop, get good play time by being there almost every weekend, and become a solid player, than play on the bench and see him rot and not be able to make it to the WC. Sigh ... I get that, but that also implies a choice in weakening our attacking line NOW. It is a trade off. One can debate on this because this is a strategic (policy wise) topic. I cannot understand people cannot discern between those two levels.

Let me just simplify it without any hypothetical jargon. I simply do not agree to see Lukaku out on loan. but we want Lukaku to get play time every weekend. I believe he had what it took to be second and get a fair amount of deals. I also believe he got offloaded due to a lack of posibilities to offload Torres and/or Ba. I also believe Mou did not keep his word about his belief in the guy. I do think this has an effect on the boy - in terms of Chelsea - that effect Ell be detrimental (less loyality, desillusioned in a club that did this twice to him). So disregarding his development (an argument is think is way overstated on here), I think Chelsea just cut in its own flesh and I hope we do not pay the price for it later if Eto'o doesn't instant deliver. So ... To answer some! This is not a Belgium FC motivated concern, but very, very, very much a CFC related concern.
