He can turn into a non scorer just as Torres, Ba, Eto'o ... Just as strikers before them did. And then you have a non linking up scorer that doesnt score. So not convinced , I fear. Also: we don't need link up? In our system? Fast, direct and counterattacking? We need it more than ever, I believe. He needs big games to perform? While I find that a sign of poor mentality, if it is true: what will he do on a rainy night at Stoke? I just don't know. I do NOT claim he is not a very prolific striker, but is he the right striker for us? Especially given FFP and a probable hefty price tag and the fact we have almost no midfield at this very moment. There are a lot of if's here and would he have done better in the eyes of the Monaco fans, I would be reassured, but they simply aren't happy with his performances there.
