From a statistical perspective he's not that bad. He played 480 minutes in 8 games against Premier League teams, scored 1 goal and assisted 3. Goal/assist every other game or every 120 minutes. Not that bad considering he played against top clubs in Champions League.
Senior players allowed to take numbers from 1 to 50. Higher numbers may be allocated for youngsters (i.e. some time ago Chalobah had 62, Ake 57, McEachran 51, van Aanholt 52).
Theirs bench yesterday: Caballero, Zabaleta, Clichy, Nasri, Demichelis, Bony, Iheanacho. Can't see "enormous amount of world-class talent" here. Zabaleta, Nasri and Bony are good, but hardly a "world-class".
Wait, wait, wait. If you say that Jose used that as excuse, then, obviously, you have proof of this. For example, Jose's quotes. If not, then obviously it's just your imagination.
Yeah, because media never question his "parking the bus tactic" when Oscar doesn't play. Why it's so hard for some people to accept that player might be really injured instead of making conspiracy theories?
Jose already said himself that we need new signings. But what else you expect from him in this case? He can't negotiate deals himself, he can't pay his own money to close the deal sooner. Moreover, when he trying to unsettle player to accelerate the deal, people call him "classless cunt".
