His over 'achieving' comments are just a smack in the face with a wet fish to the board. He's pushing and pushing and it will come to a head soon, they won't tolerate these words much longer and with him apparently walking a fine line for weeks it wouldn't surprise me if the hunt for a new coach started as early as 10PM last night.
I love Conte but hes been sold down the river, these fuckers running the show are absolute control freaks and there in lies the problem. There is no gel or bond between him and the board, the relationship is finished. He hasn't helped the situation with his latest comments but come on. Conte needs to utilise our young players more to make up the squad. I think RLC and Barkley are basically the same player, Chalobah would do as well as Drinkwater. Ake could've developed into a left sided Azpilicueta. Musonda could do more. By not making those signings that's £65/70m that could've then been spent on someone who'd instantly improve the first 11. But the club seem obsessed with inflating the squad with average players, ending up with a squad where it's the same one or two players responsible for creating and scoring goals.

Some bad decisions but he can't control £30m+ players not being able to control the ball or make simple passes.
He's also not the one in charge of recruitment. The first 11 should have more quality and be invested in more heavily, then younger players can fill up the squad. Rather than Bakayoko+Drinkwater - £75m could of been spent on someone of real quality.

The boards incompetence in regards to signing players is nothing short of staggering. I’m actually fuming at how this has happened again.
I honestly expected things to be different this summer after what Conte achieved last season.
But no-he’s been sold down the river in regards to sufficient reinforcements and we will now pay the price with a worn out squad by January.

For me Conte is a godsend and is the best thing to happen to this club since 2012. Anyone calling for him to be sacked regardless of what transpires from now till the end of the season is officially insane and an enemy of this club.

These pundits never fail to amaze me. So David Luiz is not a Conte type of defender, but Cahill is? How come? He is fucking dog shite, can't defend, can't play from the back, can't keep his shit together if Terry is not there, backs up like a fucking maniac, is prone to silly errors every week etc. Had David Luiz been English he'd have been on every pundit's lips. But since he is a foreigner of course "he can't defend". Similar to Claudio Bravo's situation when the media looked like they was expecting his mistake against United so much just to have a reason to praise Joe Hart once more. Stupid signing when we have so little, actually no depth at fullback and Mourinho isnt prepared to go with Azpi/Rahman as fullbacks. Nathan Ake is just as ready to start. Cant even see why its essential to have one tall fullback as I cant think of many teams that have a full back over 6 foot.
