hope so, Sturridge is a very special guy. He has all the physical attributes and the instincts to make it to the top, even become our main striker ( technically he is ages ahead of Lukaku) and IMO he fits the club with his talent and his bit of swagger but he needs to improve his attitude. This is the Chelsea Family, we educate players, we shape their characters, not veryone belongs here, we do not buy every averge, English (pool), skinny French (Arsenal) or half decent (Spurs) player, we select and make them prosper. Seldom a player leaves Chelsea in the middle of his career, u either don't make it here or u make it here and stay with us. Chelsea is not just a club, like a Family its a socialization. That is why there is no better place for Sturridge than here to become a complete player and professional.

Its kinda lose-lose situation, as he only made 3 or so games for us. Loaning him now until the end of his contract makes no sense. Either keep him or sell him but another loan would be as dumb as his last one, when he really could have helped the team in some situations.

Rooney has had his best times two years ago, he is not even a proper striker and will probably never be topscorer of the EPL. Chelsea vs ManUtd has been a great rivalry in the last decade, but now it's more Man City vs us or them. Also don't want him here, there are better and cheaper strikers with better manners. Rooney is just chav from the northern sinkhole who belongs to the chas from the northern sinkhole.

One has to break away from the thought "Gomez is a world-class striker" cause he simply is not. He might score loads of goals against Teams in the relegation zones with tap ins from 4 yards. His goal game ratio might be good, but u have to tell most of the teams Bayern pla in the bundesliga are shite and 4 goals against Basel do not alter that. Mandzukic has displaced Gomez because he is far more complete, he can finish as good as Goemz if not better, can cross, dribble run and pass to certain extent. Mandzukic and Martinez indeed improved Bayern, Dante and shaqiri add to the squad, but Ribery and Robben won't get any younger, Schweinsteiger is probably still shite.
