Yup Kepa has been overall surprisingly good but he was always capable of sublime saves which will boost him here in the graphic. But the problem is his errors. We do not concede many goals lately also thanks to him but the blunders he did commit cost us dearly, esp vs Fulham and ManCity we probably would have at least 2 but probably 3 or 5 points more if he had just done the basic things rights.

while RLC is underwhelming,he would complement Enzo type-wise. The beauty of having Enzo is that he has the most of the strengths of Jorginho but not his weaknesses. So all he needs beside him is one player with a good engine and the ability to work box to box both ways - carrying the ball forward through midfield and getting into position quickly off the ball. Ideally he would also offer a goal threat and a mean tackle. So Kante then Zakaria would be my first and second choice... Kovacic, Gallagher and RLC still work but to a lesser extent.

Potter is not even able to motivate the moderately sized egos of our current squad, how is he gonna handle one of the biggest dumb egos in football? But from a pure self-serving perspective Lukaku has to give it all if he is only remotely interested in retaining somewhat of a reputation and legacy in football. If he fails in English football for a third time and just sits out his wages, he will be the new Winston bogard and his respectable scoring record will go unnoticed forever. Kolo Muani is making massive strides in Bundesliga. Insane pace, nice finishing, just scored his 14th goal in German football by completing a Werner-esque run with a Henry-eque finish. Even more impressive he is on 12 bundesliga assists already. Probably one if not the of the best all-round CFs in Bundesliga right now. Would take him over someone like Thuram bc of his superior agility, explosiveness and overall better footwork

I think with him instead of K2 in the squad we would stand a chance vs BVB. K2 and Fofana are just useless so that's probably that for our CL campaign. Mad decision.

You are right. K2 is useless, no idea why we did not deregister him like we did with Ziyech. But it's just 2 more games, so does not really matter

The good thing is we have built a squad that should be able to deliver under a more convincing manager almost right away. Few positions aside we have universally talented, well-rounded, technically proficient athletes all over the pitch and not system specific players (Werner, Jorginho) and almost every position covered at least twice. It's just a bit sad seeing wasting us time holding onto a manager who is clearly not fit for the job.

If we were seeing development of the young players and a squad growing together like we did under Lamps or Ranieri I would be completely fine with not winning stuff for a while as long as there is progress and a clear vision.But under Potter it feels like we are treading in water not moving an inch... everybody is fed up with each other, the football in turgid and boring... When Newcastle were bought and signed a bunch of average to decent players, hired Eddie Howe they started delivering right away and have kept that buzz till now. Potter has been handed a better squad to begin with, even more cash and better players and we have at no point looked even able to compete against midtable teams.

I think pretty much everybody on here called how catastrophic that move for a toxic, past-it player would be. Esp when we fired TT, which allegeldy was premeditated... yeah why did we move for his favourite player then?

Not sure we will go that way. No classic no 10s in this modern game anymore probably we will buy a top CF in summer and nkunku or Kai/Felix will play off him as Second striker which is their best position

They are both terrible finishers as well but probably not worse than Havertz well look on the bright side at least Enzo does look decent for now biggest fear was him doing a Saul debut Potter is not to blame today but still absolutely clueless tho we will win fk all with him

I mean, Gallaghers passion, attitude, and spirit are commendable, but he is just so so clumsy and sloppy nonie has been quite invisible so far no Sterling is on. He at least can play on his preferred bright side but just like Mudryk he probably needs more time to get acclimatized.
