wut?

I think he meant it like Costa, who is the best player in the EPL, is followed by Drogba and REmy in our strikeforce.
-
Yup he Shelvey goal was ignored by almost everyone. CNBC did show the final score as 4-1, as did spox and eurosport.
-
We are becoming Liverpool. Scoring for fun but conceding easy goals. This will not be good enough for City or the title
-
wastefulness again. should have put the game to bed long time ago.
-
HOw come Gomis is so strong despite being so small? He is stronger than Cahill who is so much bigger
-
We are Chelsea. Bad defending won't stop us.
-
Diego Costa who else? who can stop him?
-
Ivanvoic has really worked on his crossing. But oscar really has to score that
-
get Schürrle off already.
-
Schürrle has been dreadful so far Swansea are so much sharper than us
-
we have been defensively instable since day one. even leicester got several clear cut chances. This is just not good enough

Nobody knows how long the Scottish oil will last. The industrial sector is declining and most other jobs are based in English companies. Companies which will move to London, when Scotland should be independent. Calling itself "independent" whilst being dependent on the money policy of the Bank of England is a farce anyway. They want independence but still want to stay in Nato and EU, keep the pound and the jobs English companies offer? The only thing they want to change is that they have to share the oil. Also this hurray-nationalism is not only ridiculous but would also be dangerous if Scotland had any kind of power. Naive nationalism and wanting all oil for themselves have never been healthy motives.

As so often you are absolutely spot on. Germany is a country that is crazy for football and when you are interested in it, there is no way you get around Özil. I have actually seen Özil since his Schalke days. I have seen him like most German players every time they played for the NT + on sportschau+ on MOTD. Özil does not run on players. NOt only because he is lazy, but also because he is not good at it. When visiting the GErmany NT trianing camp, I have seen him sprinting without the ball, too-it was not too impressive. ON the other hand Oscar is not only not lazy, he is one of the most eager runners on the pitch, but he also has a bit of pace. Remember when he beat Höwedes at Schalke to set up Torres goal at Schalke last season. He simply beat a defender, who is not slow himself, for pace. Also he scored our winner at Sparta Prague last season with a very quick injection of pace. Oscar is not exactly lightnig, but he surely is no slouch either.
-
Here I am pretty sure they are not. Oscar can beat a defender for pace when he has space, Özil can not do that. A year or two ago, I'd also have Poldi much faster than Oscar, but he has become rather slow. I did not count him as attacking midfielder, but if you might, he surely would be in there. Esp his end pace is incredible.
-
IMO its close. Welbeck and Alexis are fast but not faster than Hazard, Willian or Schürrle. Walcott is a bit faster than Salah and Remy. But Özil, Podolski and Cazorla are probably a bit slower than Oscar. I guess it is like Walcott>Salah>Remy>Willian>Hazard>Welbeck=Schürrle>Alexis>Oscar=Diego Costa>Cazorla>Podolski>Özil. So it is pretty close. While I don't know exactly how he defnes forward line, cos ours as well as their's have had the players in their forward lines changed. Also Swansea got Routledge and Dyer who are crazy fast. Anyway, in terms of pace we have massively improved. I remember after Robben left, we never had a winger with really lighning pace and were stuck with playing Malouda, Anelka and Kalou on the wings. Did not matter too much cos we had Lamps and Drogs.
-
btw is Costa available for this match? Even with a slight injury we do not need to risk him when we have a more than capable replacement now. On the other hand, we can't ask Remy to know all the tactics already, so maybe we could even start Drogba... Other than two weeks ago, I am quite confident that we can win this with any of our strikers.
-
IIRC we lost 2-1. Eto'o opened the scoring. Then Wickham struck and Borini penalty to kill our title bid. That dirty ass celebrated scoring against an ex-club
-
Why should he be congratulated? Scoring goals is his job. To use Balotelli's brilliant analogy. Noone congratulates a postman when he delivers the mail.
-
Good thing is at least Hazard can be Spared this dreadful shit calles international break. WHO even needs those Damn friendlies and qualifiers.
-
Costa will surely relish having Fazio back
-
the spoiled kid in me wants a deadline day signing. City outcasts Richards and Nastasic would be nice.
-
MOTD has become even more pathetic. Lineker to Neville: "Wilfried Zaha - what are his strengths what are his weaknesses" Neville: "He has wonderful ability." Then talks about Manchester Utd.
-
fair enough. But how many quality homegrown CBs or CM/DMs are available? When we once again don't register our 3rd goalie, Schwarzer, we got one space in the non-HG contingent anyway. How about a last minute bid for unsettled Sami khedira
-
What do you think, any chance of us signing a CM on deadline day after the MvG departure?
