I don't remeber any title-winning team ever having recovered being 8 points down after 4 games. Utd have won a chasing title in 2007 but were always within touching distance. chelsea never won a title chasing cos we never had the mental strength to do so. the only chasing title winner i can remember in the last 10 years was city who had 11 points on utd in february but that was an absolute average utd team they hunted down.

they probably did not have a super strong ManCity with a 12 points start ahead of them. they are pretty close. last season pogba edged oscar closely, the 2 seasons before oscar easily outscored pogba. if both would play a season without injuries and starting the same amount of matches i am sure oscar would outscore pogba. Pogba would be great for his pace, strength and dribbling ability b2b. but oscar is not the one being replaced imo. On current form it is fabregas.

Haha you are both right. If we had a player with some long range threat people would not be able to cover through balls to Costa effectively. And if we had the ability to cross, we would be able to stretch the opposition better. But both exclusively would lead nowhere as many under Moyes have encountered. Though ifnmou would play baba on the left and azpi on the right we could actually make Pedro's and hazard s job easier + have better crossing prowess&width

really he skied like 5 shots today. If pogba had those opportunities i am sure he would have scored one. He might not be a workhorse but he isnot dispossessed as easily as fabregas and his long range threat would actually mean at least one, if not two as pogba can dribble past one for sure, of the oppositon's dms had to step out which would create space for others.
