  1. i guess it is just the way people are. even though i almost got my bachelor thesis ready 4 weeks before the deadline, i'll only hand it in on that final day. gives me maximum time to optimize it.
  2. apparently we have bid for the 2nd most average player under the sun - JOnas hector of köln. even though he is a Germany international he is really a mediocrity.
  3. what do you mean. they are completely different players. griezmann is a second striker, a poacher. pedro is an ambidextrous winger who can assist as much as he can score. Griezmann now had 1.5 very good seasons but let's not forget he is only 3.5 years younger than pedro. at that age, pedro had already played and won 2 cl finals, a world cup and a european championship, scoring about as much as griezmann in multiple seasons. Griezi might be an up and coming future star but Pedro is a proven winner who fit sour system so much better btw his position actually exists in our system. so for us it is definitely pedro > griezmann.
  4. we got Remy because Torres left, having already secured Costa that season.Great transfer window that was. But otherwise I agree. the club has a history of buying average players instead of promoting our own youth talent. marin, benayoun, ben haim, ben sahar, sidwell, turnbull..the list goes on. As for this deal the jury is still out. some cbs can rach a high level very fast at a late age. dante was a decent 29 y.o. cb when he joined bayern and known for little more than his afro. Tho his amazing performances that season arguably won Bayern the CL...Never reached that level again but for 9m totally worth it. Cahill, Vidic also cbs who made a giant leap in their late 20ies having played for shit clubs before. If it comes off brilliant, if not who the fuck cares. next season kalas, omeruo and christensen will come back from their loans and we will see if anyone cuts it.
  5. shut up and learn how to pronounce 'r', how to drive a car and while you are at it stop taking selfies and pictures of food
  6. Next time we play in asia we should form a team of giants -------------Tibo------- Brana-Papy-Cahill-Zouma --------Matic--Mikel--------- Kenedy----RLC-----Remy ------------Costa------------- average height would be almost 6'3'' (190cm). even though that team has about as much creativity as a toaster and would probably play out a 0-0, it would surely increase our popularity there, cos asians worship tall men for some reason.
  7. But they also called him out after his abysmal performances next season. Even Ruud Gullit who is one of the worst pundits ever noticed him backing off all the time and had lika 2mins montage of him backing off from sako, bolasie etc on motd. was a pain to watch.
  8. I know shit teams get attacked more hence their defence statistics must be better esp clearances. But you don't make 6.5 interceptions per game without having a genuine understanding of the game. yes he is horrible on the ball and can't go with it more than 2 yards but in the odds coc games he will play all he needs to do is to pass to JT after a tackle so what's the fuss. can't be worse than Ben Haim.
  9. The Fifa should not let this through. I remember half a dozen deals that did not go through because of broken fax, if they remedy this one a dangerous precedent will be created.
  10. http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11668/9974173/quiz-who-is-your-record-signing Despite the fact that I don't give a shit about other epl teams this quiz was pretty easy and fun to take. Have a try
  11. +1 But with jt and iva being over the hill I can totally see one of them playing a squad role here....not.
  12. Tbf Wenger's transfer have never been quite the problem. Yeah he could have invested more but the reason he wins only smll tiles is his mentality. Currently in sorry more about us in that regard anyway.
  13. Apparently he is fast, tall, strong, versatile, decent on the ball and dead cheap. Could be a brilliant stop gap signing. As for the age I hope doctors scan his hand bones should be done with all players coming from poorly developed counrties such as Senegal, nigeria, tansania, Scotland and eastern germany
  14. speeding is an administrative offence. drink driving is a crime.
  15. Should rather keep him. We got only traore and Kennedy as cover on the wings both are unproven. Vic is homegrown, experienced and right footed. But I guess we will loan him out as the club is back to operating dumb as shit in the transfer market again.
  16. John Cross is usually reliable - is the sell-on clause legit tho? anyone knows how much if so?
  17. at least we are not the only champions with an awful start. juve really embarrassing themselves with their displays so far. this especially applies for our friend pogba. This is not his first pedestrian performance by any means. He was awful in all of juve's cl games i have seen. they must or at least should be biting their ass if they really rejected any amount north of 60m pounds for him. Juve won't win the title , next season he will be off to Barca for much less.
  18. we are a sinking ship but if he comes and steadies it, he will be the hero. surely that should be some kind of a turn on.
  19. you obviously got no clue about tactics. actually 4 defenders + 1 defensive midfielder is exactly the same number of defensive outfield players we got in a 4-2-3-1 anyway. at the same time all our ams track back. in a 4-4-2 strikers usually don't track back so that would leave us even more exposed. 4+1 defenders is not exactly a defensive wall. Bare minimum of defensive emergence actually. usually a 4-4-2 gets played with 2 dms so a 4+2 defenders if you will. but that system lacks creativity, is far too rigid and gets found out easily.
  20. how many players with the name sako/sakho are currently in the epl? i counted at least 3.
  21. Rewatching the game i have come to the conclusion that besides iva our worst performer was matic who let us down on multiple occasions, was completely pedestrain. apart from that zouma-cahill is a problem because, even though both performed ok individually apart from their second goal were zouma let bolasie cross and cahill should either marked someone or at least been on the line, the communication between them is flawed, cahill is not a born leader like jt is. btw fabregas had 5 shots and should have scored. pedro is actually not that match fit, looked tired in the end. falcao's movement has been better today but it was curious he seemed to stay in midfield after cp second lead. matic should have simply put his foot through the ball when dribbling clear. Hazard was better than on first though. had 2 crosses were people should have been positioned better and actually took on player succesfully on 3 occasion. Willian distribution was inconsistnet, his defending feckless. he took 4 shots, all were shite. should at least hit the target.
  22. 1.i watched most of piazon's games at eintracht and he was given ample opportunity. thomas schaaf believed in him like no one else. but he spurned all his chances and was piss poor most of the time. maybe our players are shite but even moses and traore are better players for left wing than piazon. he will never feature for the first team again quite simply because he is not remotedly good enough. You obviously know fuck all about piazon and were just throwing in his name to make a point we got youngsters 10 times better than him who actually might have a future here. 2. we don't play 4-3-3. we play 4-2-3-1 and that's the problem. fabregas can't play in the pivot and matic is in the worst form of his career. 4-4-2 is an completely outdated system. we are leaking goals right and centre and we would expose those by playing 2 man midfield you proposed.
  23. Well, he did dribble past 2 or 3 everton defenders only for pedro to take the ball off him and shoot wide. He does not even need service in terms of balls that are directed to him, he just needs some kind of penetration. Be it shots, crosses or through balls, just something vaguely in his direction and he will slip there between the defenders or lash onto the rebound. where agüero and suarez got their dribbling ability, costa got his goal instincts. But just like suarezh and agüero need teammates runs creating space for their dribbles, costa simply strives when the ball is actually put into danger territory.
  24. winning fa cup and coc like in jose's 3rd season/1st coming would be the only way to save his ass i guess. Let's just hope we don't sign tal ben haim afterwards.
