Have seen nothing yet. 2+ months would indicate some form of invasive treatment usually. Woudl absolutely wreck our season cos we would essentially play another system without him and then learn a new one with him mid season
-
Absurdly stupid. No excuse really. Maybe that’s why she started first game from bench despite being the best attacker technically - not mature enough yet Will she get banned for 3 games as usual with violent conduct or do all cards get wiped after quarters? Anyway apart from the China goalfest England have been just as drab as the men this WC
-
Angelo will go to Straßburg next few days and Maatsen was only good as winger vs wrexham. Sterling is frustrating but when it counts he knows where the goal is. Would still give him the benefit of the doubt in this one Defo need 3 man MF here. Hurts not to have Kova and Kante here or at least someone like zakaria with defensive presence and ball carrying ability.
-
They threw this away don’t know if to be happy or not. Hate both these teams with a passion.
-
Lol Akanji what a clown. 90+11 mins in a one goal 0 red card game is wicked
-
Tbf both those teams double pivot looked quite strong. Kova and Rodri is rock solid as is Rice Partey. Both displayed some clown level defending on the wings tho. Timber is no left back. Toerney not much better. Arsenal are the fitter side atm but with Kai being Kai you can always rely on spectacular misses when it matters most. I particularly like how they said, no he is a midfielder does not need to finish the chances, Arteta is gonna reinvent him… now they are cluelessly sticking him up front at no9 like we did for yours and the circle of frustration starts for them right in time.
-
You make a compelling case but I doubt we would jump through that many hoops for them. Brighton can not be trusted to keep an agreement. The Caicedo contract extension disaster shows this. I refuse to believe board & directors would agree to all these shenanigans without something tangible. That being said I do believe this deal will eventually get done, probably for just under 100m, even though it will probably drag on a few more weeks.
-
But barella + Enzo in a DP would never work. Also we both know Barella will not leave Italy. So many talented Italian player we have been linked with over the decades but we never even came close. There might well be some gentleman’s agreement here but i can totally see Brighton spitting in our face and fucking us over once more
-
Wow. Tiny Ty Adams. Not a fan at all but at least hard working, dogged runner and good attitude overall like Pizy outlined. I could imagine it does not hurt to have him as cover as his wages would probably be in line with the low fee. but he is not the kind of quality that brings us forward PSG really did fuck us over with the Ugarte hijack. At this point it looks like he was the no 1 target probably due to price and Caicedo is already plan B with no premeditated plan C in place. Still thinker should go for someone like Onanan or Aövarez before stepping as low as Adams.
-
What now, have you been told or have you seen the dealsheet yourself. Make up your mind. It might still happen. Maybe it already has or will spectacularly collapse. We don’t know yet. all these supposed itks suddenly materialising to profit off this saga do not know an iota more than we do.

That midfield is a disaster and the wings are not exactly a menace either. Nkunku out already weakens our attacking potential significantly. losing Kante and Kovacic without replacement has completely gutted our midfield.
-
Wow Arsenal completely bloated both in valuation as well as in squad size. Players at Chelsea somehow often get super early harsh downgrades (e.g. Enzo got lower valuation just weeks after joining us despite fulfilling expectations). German players tend to be overvalued with tm home bias.
-
Oh ffs our most important, marquee signing missing the first few weeks of the season ofc. Fkin ed Sheeran fans and those yanks who decided to have the concert and game on the same pitch. Luckily Nkubku has always been able to come back strongly from injuries. At least it makes the selection straightforward.
-
I think his rumoured pace issue is just down to his ridiculous 50 pace rating on FIFA. IRL his pace looks completely fine. Fifa has a terrible record on evaluating pace anyway (remember when Goretzka got 80 pace and Rüdiger 76 or when Maicon was supposed to be faster tha Gareth Bale)
-
True, their quality is not a given. But in the past we had neither will&determination nor absolute top quality. I d rather have a group of young players with ambition potential and hunger who give it all for the shirt than watching some average has beens who fk off for a few extra quid after producing next to nothing for years.
-
If the chap was not a playing for Brighton we would probably not even give a damn surely it has to be linked to Caicedo 25m for the backup to Jason Steele who at 32 played most of his career in lower tier.
-
Wow if Kai is the benchmark now help us God
-
It is excessive. But while I have been harsh on Caicedo myself, he is a rarer talent than Gvardiol simply bc of his position. There are many talented CBs around overall. Not all have the hype Gvardiol has but few cbs have to be the finished article at 20. CBs often peak late bc a lot of the skills they need to Master go beyond technical talent or natural athleticism but are acquired. Experience and years of learning tactics, positioning, timing etc. Players usually don’t have all of this at 20.
-
No I am not worried about our Def either. Would trust any of our present cb options and even rate Colwill over Gvardiol. Can see Disasi being a shrewd buy as well. Have been a fan of Badiashile from day 1. just a shame that the money spent on Fofana could have been used elsewhere way better without us being a yota worse off.
-
Gvardiol to city now official. Wow. And we are stuck with that equally expensive rinsed cripple. Great job. Last summer must have been the most disastrous transfer window in history.
-
Yes exactly 2nd Striker=SS thought that was clear from context. I don’t like the abbreviation for obvious reason that is why I spelled it out. The point was the position does not really exist in Poch‘s spurs era 4231 which is why he has to tweak it here. Would be criminal not to play Nkunku there. I hope the talk about him replicating that system here and is thus being in for a classic no10 are pure BS speculation
-
Ok but neither olise, Cherki nor kudus are anything like eriksen. Enzo is the closest thing. As for Sterling we are probably stuck with him like we are with Cucu moreover the classic no 10 is dead. We have the best 2nd Striker in the world with Nkunku. We should use him to his fullest potential and not out of position to accommodate some ancient idea of spurs era Poch ball. Hence, we should concentrate on making a double pivot work.
-
Why are we after another attacker? For 3 max 4 positions we have Nku, Sterling, Jackson, Mudryk, Madueke - safe probably going on loan but still here moreira, angelo, Broja maatsen can be used as winger, Enzo as no 10 then we still have CHO, luakkau and Ziyech stealing a living honestly the 5 we know are staying are already enough. If only one of the others stay we are loaded for a max 50 games season.
-
The chinese players will probably get whipped back home for this result but not as brutal as the whipping they got from Lauren today. Powerful and majestic at the same time.
-
I would say he is a „meh ok“ rather than a „hell no“ but he will divide opinions here for sure. Can see him dominating some games and absolutely getting hammered in others . What could be a pro is that he is Spanish speaking like Enzo
