William, Morata and Moses must be the most frustrating attacking 3 in football.history. the new Anelkalouda (who at least could score goals)
-
I hate these games..tons of losession but being caughg on the break and will prolly concede first. Fabinho is a trainwreck. Just as shit as Bakayoko
-
Well that was painful to watch so wasteful. But not as painful as for Pedro. Hope he is ok. Win is a win I bet my left nut Batshuayi would have scored a hattrick today. Exactl his kind of game. That being saif, 6 games and as many wins into the season and we are already playing better football than Arsenal have for 15 years when they get praised for it all he time.

Both are not chelsea material

Dont get why people ate always happy to see rivals losing in europe. We need to keep them occupied as long as possible. The faree they get in the CL the better our chances in the league. Same with Spurs. I hope all english team go into the quarterfinals at least. also better for the coefficient and the better the league the greater achievement it is to win it ourselves. Dont be short-sighted guys.

God to see Kovacic, Hazard and Luiz rested. Hopefully, Jorginho, kante amd Azpi also will not start. Disappointed Drinkwater and Emerson are not in the squad. Maxbe its injuries bc i can not see us restricting our contingeng voluntarily
-
Lol Athens or Saloniki. Hauptsache Italien😅🙈
-
I hope Hazard, Jorginho, Kante and Azpi do not even travel to Athens for this mickey mouse competition. Hope we lineup with a b/c squad. Actually very much like the ones posted above

True, the players are tactically very flexible, esp this change to 3 man defense and back to 4 has been executed to perfection both times. But then again, the board by accident or by cleverness chose manager whose philosophies in terms of work ethic are similar. Mourinho instilled a hard working mentality into them that got reaped by Conte to mould into his defensive, running around style with 11 behind the ball at times and now Sarri, without losing this mentality gave them some more offensive joy by scrapping the shackles and allowing players to drift forward more as long as they get back fast enough. I just really really hope we can somehow convince Kante and Hazard to stay bc then I could see something lasting and genuine being build here. Even if we do not win titles every year, the way the players express themselves on the pitch atm and the football we play is just great to watch and when the academy graduates can pick up this philosophy we can become what Roman always dreams of and what many fans wish too. Sure, I prefer winning titles ugly rather than losing in beauty but we have won a shitload of titles in the past 15 years and in order to do again but by playing beautiful football too which surely is the next step we need to learn to play taht football with a little less pressure first.

Easily the best team in the league so far and we are only to get better esp defensively. Have to compliment Sarri for making the best out of his limited time and putting everything together this fast. Let's hope he will also stand through the more difficult times we are set to face at least in November like always.

His assist was amazing as is his composure. He looks so good in dmf that i am not sure he wouldnt be wasted in cb but then again we are much szronger in midfield but could see him break through in defense. Either way great player and will become a world beater here or somewhere else
-
Dont see there being much of a problem. Many of our players are not international a listers and either riding the bench like Azpi, Kepa, Kovacic or having stayed in Cobham like Morata, Pedro, Luiz, Barkley. They are gonna be fit and tactically well prepares for Cardiff

I like how Mourinho plays the "its too expensive to sack me" card. Avb said the very same once and was sacked weeks later. What a disaster that was tho. 30m for a bang average manager
-
But then again, Hazard has heavily benefitted from Alonso's offensive involvement, see the penalty last week and the assist yesterday where created by Alonso moving from the halfspace into the box. It would be interesting to have a more traditonally playing fullback with width and pace etc (aka Emerson) to support Hazard. maybe he would have more space then but I doubt it because every team is double-marking him anyway. And because Alonso is so unconventional it creates all kinds of havoc when he makes his offensive movements. No winger will track him back into his own box that is why he finds himself so much space all the time. The downside is that his side is often open.
-
I remember how Utd wanted him or Mane and ended up with neither Mane would have been the better signing for us tho which we already knew back then
-
1 goal 5 assists now. Insane start to the season hes had. Rey improved under Sarri also defensively already albeit the real.tests are yet to come
-
so good. thanks a lot!

Thy btw that stream is amazing..would you mind letting us in on your stream library?
-
and back to square 1. expect the geordies to implode now
-
their equalizer was expectedly lucky and out of the blue but ManCity are not exactly shining this season so far. Have to say we look the best side in the young season despite our obvious defensive flaws but at least we are constantly creating chances and scoring goals, whilst liverpool jus thave pace and luck. And this Dubravka dude looks an absolute gem for the money Nucastle paid for them (3.6m).
-
Dafuq are newcastle doing. They played outta their skins vs us and with 11 men in and around the box and they give it away to city freely without even closing down spaces
-
Yaya toure is gonna sign for a London club not Westham..surely not us, Arsenal or Crystal Palace too. Can only see it being Tottenham...well lets see. Mighg still be a nice punt for a 15min cameo every other game..but we are stacked with midfielders. In the end overall Yaya strikes me as a bit overrated..yes he had two seasons where he was unplayable and scored like 20 goals Lamps style but then again transfermarkt has him at only 96 career goals and only 79 in 316 at Mancity where he played very offensively. Great player when at his best but never really caught my eye in the very big games, also sulked a lot and had many many games to forget. Prolly a Mancity legend but not a premier league legend imo
-
I dont think we struggled breaking them.down..we had like 15 attempts, 9 shots on target. Pedro hat 3 golden chances..hazard 2 and 2 shots from.outside, morata blocked a goalbound shot from azpi, rüdiger hit the bar..even playing through the middle we created chances...just bad luck finishing and a bit of haste And i dont like those screenshots. They are just moments in the game...cometely out of context..there were enough situations azpi went to the byline to cross..overall it was a textbook performance vs a deep block. Just an unnecesaary error fro Luiz, bad refereeing and bad finishing..otherwise it would have been a solid win no one would talk about afterwards

Thats because kdb is a very boring guy..said so himself spending his leisure time at home actively recovering. Model.professional tho. Still absolutely mind boggling how Mourinho passed on Salah and kdb argaubly the 2 best players in the league while spensing 200m on those donkeys Pogba and Lukaku. I wish he never had come back. Might not have won the league in 2015 but we would have had our team set for years.
-
He just has lost it. This is the guy who failed to see the potential in Kdb and salah but spent 200m on lukaku and pogba who are just above average age players witj a big hype. He has one of the most expensive squads ever assembled and moans that he did not get a 5th cb when he already has 4 very good ones. Sorry this is all on Mourinho. If you cant motivate and find the right tactics you are sinply not a good manager
