  1. Also because of weak lira it is smart to buy in Turkey rn
  2. He looks absolutely average but for that price we can at least make a sizeable profit. Sounds like a typical chelsea deal with the djilobodji of strikers.
  3. Thats a bit harsh. At least Higs is a former world class striker. We seem to like collecting those. Weah, Drogs, Etoo, Torres. Only missing Ibra and maybe bring Ronaldo out pf retirement🤣
  4. What do they mean for someone his frame? He is average height and skinny af. Overall he sounds like a carbon copy of Zappacosta in every aspect built, height, pace, poor output except maybe tackles
  5. Momaco might well give him a try. And it would be a great move for him with thierry henry surely a perfect manager for him.
  6. All but confirmed even by german media https://www.welt.de/sport/article186774676/FC-Valencia-Der-rasante-Absturz-des-BVB-Lieblings-Michy-Batshuayi.html that the loan will be cut short and we will need to look for another club. Shit Favre pulled the plug on the 45m BVB were actually prepared to shed out for him. For the same reason he is prolly not in Sarri's plans: just not intelligent enough, esp in his movement and link-up play. However, what we need now is someone who can put the ball in the net and no matter how poor he is, Bats is ball magnet and he always finds himself in the right place. That is obviously not good enough and once again Marian missed the right time to sell an average player for mega bucks but i am sure with bats blowing hot and cold there will be one dumb club at some point who will shed out the millions for him.
  7. yeah but i said young higuain. in his early years at Real, which is where i watched most of him i did not really notice him attempting long shots very often or scoring. he used to score a few goals in the 20 yards range at Napoli. No one denies Higuain at his peak was a penhomenal striker but he is 31, has a lot of football in his bones, is not getting any younger, slightly out of shape and in a scoring drought. Wilson on the other hand, albeit not remotedly as talented is in the form of his life, at the best age, super fit, sharp and pacey. Trademark Higuain finish will always be channel of the box hard and low in the bottom far corner. Trademark Wilson finish is rounding the keeper with pace and tapping in empty net.
  8. obviously a pens, tap ins and 1 on 1 merchant, which means he excels at the kind of chances we create tons of for Morata and Giroud to miss. Would suit us quite nicely even if he is rather one-dimensional with 0 goals from outside the box and just 3 or so headers. Actually reminds me of a young Higuain. So lets see how the old turns out for that half year and then maybe we get Wilson for 35m or so which would be reasonable if we can't get an absolute A grader like Icardi.
  9. already had that story let's hope Bayern indeed fucked up and contacted him when he was still under 18 or before contacting us. Maybe get them a transfer ban for good measure too
  10. yeah if the club really wants to keep Hazard he should just play Emerson. Hazard loves him.
  11. Does he? I really question his effort. He is always just jogging, never even seen him sprinting, so maybe he's lightning quick and we don't know^^ But surely his commitment to Chelsea can be part of the reason he got a 5 year contract. He at least shows gratitude that we ellevated him to a major player in a big big club other than this thread's guy here.
  12. LOL in any other business you'd go to jail for that clear conflict of interest
  13. yeah i can see the agent telling him what to do too. he is at an age where it is still easy to be manipulated. There has to be found another compensation scheme so that they do not push players to switch clubs all the time.
  14. the ban would only be after the summer, i think, so our activity is uncorrelated to that i think it is rather to prevent us from failing top4 again. Also FIFA is nothing if not corrupted to the core, surely there will be a solution. There never has been such a transfer ban on a major club in football history.
  15. wel i am not the club you blockhead. this is an unofficial forum in case you have not noticed.
  16. that is what i don't understand. has to be some kind of corruption behind the scenes. how they manage to always pay such middling fees. it is kinda similar to how we got Costa from atletico for just 35m and then reold them to him for twice that amount even though 3 years older.
  17. well that is hardly a threat. we know he is not signing a new contract. Threatening him with wrecking his career and sitting him on the bench 1,5 years if he does not sign a new contract. That surely should do the trick. Prolly the club is right. take the 40m if and only if you get a buy back clause and other success-related add-ons.
  18. Yeah but they are not produced by the German Allgemeinen Rundfunkbeiträgen which i was ranting about^^ The Rundfunkbeitrag is more of a tax which is forced upon you by the German government even if you dont own a TV and sadly does not come with a netflix account
  19. I tried to photoshop his name into the Barilla pasta logo but i found something even better https://shop.spreadshirt.it/ildeboscio/barella-A5746bf5f0c6aed712862ad8c apparently you can buy Barella merch with cocaine (c17h21no4) references. no idea why^^
  20. It is even worse here in Germany. Everyone regardless if they own a TV or not has to pay 210€. BBC is at least really decent much better than what we have. We pay for outrageous wages of incompetent media official, mediore presenters/hosts, atrociously bad actors, ginormous TV-stages and all we get to see is folk music and endless repitions of self-produced staid-boring crime shows on 160 different channels
  21. funny also that Torres had the exact same age bracket 26 turning 27 just after the window and the same dodgy knee. would be hilarious to commit the same mistake again
  22. I know. For us to win anything, sarri would have to change and adapt his tactics which is never gonna happen. How are the chances a 60yo who has just landed the biggest job in his life will change one bit. So we better realize we are gonna win fuck all with Sarri at the helm. Maybe the odd FA Cup or EL league by pure chance but it will be ages till we are competitive again in CL and PL so we better start appreciating the small things. Like stomping Newcastle to the ground.
  23. LOLZ the problem with bauern is not poaching talents from their direct "rivals" (mickey mouse bundesliga is 75% made of championship level clubs) but instead of paying a reasonable fee like premier league clubs they tell the player to run the contract down and then snap it up for free. I mean it is an intelligent strategy in the sort term. Bayern maintain their dominance even if they player is just average like Goretzka but they at least weaken the other teams, they save money. Everyone loses only bayern wins. Only like this, BAyern transfer record is around 45m which is what a club like Bournemouth eats for breakfast. What they have not really considered is by relegating the bundesliga to a minor league in the process they lose market share, tv money and thus also the zillionth bundesliga title is worth zero. Bayern get bigger but the leageu gets smaller, which turns Bayern from a european heavyweight more towards a german Celtic glasgow. Could as well win the belarussian league with a 800m squad no one gives a damn. Makes it even more ridiculous how Bayern in their endless arrogance achieve to not win the bundesliga at times like this season. Dortmund who play a 18 y.o in their starting lineup and a bunch of other players no one has ever heard of wiped the floor with bayern a few weeks back it was an absolute joy to watch. Actually that is the only joy you can have when watching bundesliga is the bauern being completely outclassed by a team with 1/10 their budget every once in a while. Shame the other clubs of blindenliga never put up a fight And back to the point how damn ridiculous is it that someone comes to a chelsea forum to ask whether 40m is too much for CHO. This is a club who spent 120m on Morata+Torres, rejected 65m for Willian^^ In England 40m buys you players like Danny fucking Drinkwater and thats it. 40m is what a relegation-battler spends for their average summer buy. So go penny-pinching somewhere else. What do you wanna hear? 40m is too much for one of our best homegrown talents?
