Marcos Alonso is not homegrown tho. He only joined bolton when he was already 20
-
well we were the better team throughout and i am confident we can score. absolutely ecstatic to see CHO start albeit Willian and Alonso are starting too which is kinda meh. Ofc öVAR is only brought in when it is to our disadvantage and it looked offside but fair enough it was not so shit happens. not sure if arrizabalaga was right to come out there could have just let kane run behind the touchline and intercept the pass. And yeah BArkley just does not look the real deal to me either. has stagnated for 4 years now nowhere near good enough, not decisive, no penetration, average on and off the ball. should sell him i am sure there will be plenty midtable teams interested. RLC and kovacic are tons better technically.

decent stream anyone? the usual suspects seem not to be working
-
maybe just abandon that the league cup has 2 semi legs and just have it played on a neutral venue FFS.
-
LOLZ could not have asked for better PR...what is wrong with his calves tho

Sure Zappacosta is hardly an amazing player and i would not shed a tear if we sold him.. But i like his attitude, workrate and his blistering pace. He always tries to make an impact offensively adn given he only makes games vs poor opposition as Azpi is basically never injured I dont mind his defensive weaknesses at all. He is perfect for the role he plays. He must have known that he will not be a guaranteed starter here so why is he disappointed no. Selling him would open another unnecessary construction side in the squad. I think we should tell him to stay put until summer and then find a suitable buyer. He still has 2.5 years left on his contract so why even bother selling him without need? Let the brilliant Reece James finish his loan spell and then assess the situation if he can replace Zappa or if we have to go to the market. There are tons of great fullbacks around at any rate.

Did they not ask for a 15m discount those clowns? also 3m after tax is like 110k per week gross. Again we should be able to easily edge them out. and 45m € that is sounds like a fair price for him if he is as good as people here say

Klopp is a big babbler when talking to the press but he knows his stuff and will always protect his players. Esp because so many young ones, even an 16y.o. deubtant involved. Klopp does not want it to hit their confidence.

Luton would be perfect. but it is at the bridge anyway so we would not have to travel to the ass end of England even if it'd be Sheffield. The draw in general is rahter favorable this time. Tottenham have a london derby vs palace, City already got beat by Burnley so maybe they can repeat that esp as City will field a weakened team
-
sheffield or luton it is for us next round. good draw
-
Sturridge another one who got away is out of contract end of the season and they will probably not extend... sad what a player he could have been if not wrecked by injuries. I still think the decision to sell him was correct with his injury record, even in hindsight. just the fee and the timing of the sale was very unfortunate. had a look his injury record actually needs 2 pages on transfermarkt^^ https://www.transfermarkt.de/daniel-sturridge/verletzungen/spieler/47082

Still the move to wolves could have a career breaker just as well regardless of the background. Maybe it is because i grew up watching football in the era of mega midfield allrounders who could hit those diagonals with eyes closed + score and assist double digits every seadon that i find players like him who have like 2 goals and assists in 16 games unspectacular in general. But we will see how he turns out.
-
Well now that was special
-
We'll he playing for wolves. That is kinda the definition of fallen... + wolves may demand 80m for him but i doubt anyone is paying more than half of that for a player who has not really looked anything special this season so far.
-
No offense to the player , he might be legit but there are way too many players I have never heard from linked with us and hailed as world beaters I thought we had all but secured this Barilla chap as Fabreags replacement. I hope we sign whoever quickly these constant new rumours becoem a bit off-putting.
-
Wolves like many other english clubs look like a reservoir of fallen wonderkinds with Dendoncker, Ruben Neves, Rui Costa, adama traore and a coase could be made for joao mountiho and helder costa.
-
their young right bach rafael camacho also looks quite decent. only has 1,5 years on contract too, maybe offer him 120k and the no10 shirt^^
-
I dont think so. 120k for someone with that few first team minutes. My ass. Bayern are a very conservatively run club. Would piss off too many other players and unhinge their wage structure. Also we can easily match the 120k if we want
-
he actually reminds me of a 21 year old Mohamed Salah who also looked the full package except for finishing and shootign until he matured at Roma. That said, CHO has only just turned 19. He will be scary good here or elsewhere. Some would say generational player.
-
Willian relishing starting next game except he doesn't cos he couldn't care less about playing for chelsea
-
Jacob a player not too ashamed for a dive in the last minute 2-0 down
-
Now that is a proper farewell
-
CHO is so good he even makes Morata score + darts up and down hisnside like mad tracking the full back and making every possible run in full pace. In other words: Willian you will play the next game 90mins
-
Omg
-
CHO's performamce makes me so excited to see Willian do fuck all in our next major game
