Great win. The only gripe is that next week we will be shit again at home vs a low block. But maybe we have learned now from turning around a losing position.

Not sure what is going on. Clearly the players are not clicking the way they used to in the beginning of the season. The hunger, the running is gone. Maybe the atmosphere is not as great and Lamps fails to motivate them now the buzz is gone. he never struck me as an extrovert guy who takes the players with him but more like a calm, well-spoken politician so maybe a better chairman than manager. anyway time will tell. He might still come out good. The problem is pretty evident and I am sure he will figure out a solution at some point.

It’s amazing how we will still finish this day 4th despite having lost 5 in 7 and 7 overall already. The league has really become poor.

We now have an average squad, an average manager and a poor board. We always need one of the 3 to be good to have success. And because of the latter I have no high hopes for anything to change with the transfer window. We will end up with a few overpaid dregs like Zaha and have the same shitty results.

What I find sweetest about this win is how Spurs threw everything they got at us, all their big guys were fit, at their new home, their fans racist chanting, throwing stuff at Kepa, them fouling badly at every opportunity, the cunt Alli constantly diving in the box yet we came out on top comfortably once again.

His best ever performance? He was at the centre of everything today. Those passes and runs to break us free on the counter on top of his goals and defensive contributions. We all know he will be shit again in a few weeks but let him have his moment. What a game the old boy had.

Maybe even our best performance under Lamps yet. limited Spurs attack with all of Eriksen,Kane, Alli, moura and Son to 0 real chances. And most importantly Lamps outcoached Mou by a mile today. completely ruled the midfield and that airtight defence. Even alonso was good with awesome off the ball movement. Nothing to moan about except maybe not being clinical enough for the third. Great win. Hope it gives us momentum for the hectic festive schedule.

Isco is only good when he is in the mood tho. He might look flashy with his nice dribbling but rarely scores so he is basically an upfield Kovacic minus the defensive prowess.

I am confident we will win this. What beat us at Everton and vs Westham was their rigor and commitment. I do not see this from Lille provided we score first. If they score first they might start playing for pride and putting in an effort to cause an upset. But if their dangerous players really are rested we should be comfortabel enough.

Overreaction this time indeed is massive. Everton were really poor today but they brouht an intensity we could not cope with. we wasted half a dozen of glorious chances (pulisic, willian, mount and abraham all either rushed or delayed their finishes). Lamps made a poor defensive selection but that is mostlybecause almost all our defensive players are shit. You can not blame poor fnishing and comical goalkeeper and defender errors at Lamps. Can't belive people are already calling for his head. He has not hadany money to spend so can only cope with the mediocre squad we has, which, lets face it is still punching above its weight in 4th place. I predicted 6th and i would still consider 6th place an alright outcome, albeit I think we will somehow scrap 4th. We might not be able to get much done in the January transfer window but we will be able to get rid of some deadwood and at least bring in some decent player. We clearly still need a left footed winger, a proper striker, a cb and a left back and now maybe a goalie. We might not get absolute quality but you can hardly downgrade from the options we have in those positions. I maintain. We might lose a lot lately but I maintain we are not playing that bad. Wham, Everton put in their best performances this season so far in. City are just a better side. In all those games we create chances en masse (bar maybe Wham) but failed to score. Young players, young managers are bound to make mistakes. I warned everyone here in the beginning of the season and during that 7 win run that there will be times we will be shit, when the young boys are tired, get bullied make mistaks, lamps picks the wrong tactics or players. This time now has come and this is not the end of it. I can see us struggling all through the packed December. And they all might be slow learners but they will learn eventually.
