He is more employed as a cb recently which has limited his offensive contribution but has seen his defensive play mature. He has this nice combination of height and pace which makes him seldom be too late for a challenge or aerial duel. I liked him better as a right back tbh, just remember that game at the olympics where he completely shut down neymar who was simply flabbergasted of how much slower he is than Klostermann. I never saw him as an offensive rightback tho. more of a safety first player. Those mistakes he did a lot earlier in his career were just natural for a young defender and not due to lacking understanding of the game. He has mostly ironed them out and i consider him one of the more solid cbs in Bundesliga now and I see him and Süle being the future centre back pairing for our country as well. Plus Lukas is also very much two footed so he can be used pretty much across the whole backline like Azpi. Similar workrate as well.

He is different to Özil tho. Much faster and better in the air. Likes to drift inside from the wing. Özil is completely useless out wide. Tbf he is useless anywhere by now. We will need to play much better than we did yesterday. Jorginho will be crucial to bring structure in the game, as their style is to cause anarchy. I dont think they will knackered. This is like a new season in fitness terms, you get fresher by playing more. Their average age is 28 thats ancient compared to ours. Havertz is lazy off the ball. No manager likes that. He would be an absolute luxury player and force Lampard to change his system or not start Pulisic or Ziyech. tbh I have no idea how our midfield is gonna lineup if we indeed get havertz. we would surely switch to 4-2-3-1 cos Puli, Havertz, Ziyech and Werner all have to start. So this just leaves two midfield spots and i dont know if any combination of Jorginho, kova, mount, kante will actuallywork as a double pivot.

jorginho kovacic mount would be perfect for this kind of game but i doubt we will see it.
