Disagree. Toni Kroos even in his prime would not work to the same extent in the PL. Too slow and immobile. Kroos only works with very mobile and defensively strong players around him. Jorginho is basically a poor man's Kroos and you see plenty of games where he is completely useless in. We need someone who adds steel but can also structure the play. A player in the mould of Rodri or Rice. a physical presence who is mobile, can work all over the pitch, has a great engine and can also steer the build up play and break the lines.

Just an awesome individual goal that gets better every time you see it. the first three touches are just perfection. to get the ball away from Corona and into space but not too far, then past the defender but not too close to the goalie and then past the goalkeeper but not too close to the other defender just brilliantly executed.

Pepe and Mbemba are both shorter than Kai and only marginally less skinny but they still play it more physically. Kai just did not put up a fight. He has been in PL for months and still has not put on an ounce of muscle or embraced the physical part of the game.

Imagine we would have gone for jadon sancho instead of havertz and werner.... well you never know. But what we need is a nimble, fast attacker who also has this little bit of bulk and low centre of gravity to ride challanges and get past the player despite the foul. If Hazard had stopped everytime he got fouled we would not have won all those titles. Kai, timo and Puli always go down like they hit a wall when tackled. Even Willian was better at this. We have lost a lot of attacking fluidity with those two.

We have been poor individually apart from a few players but have fought as a team brilliantly since Tuchel arrived. you more often than not do not win cups with individual brilliance but with gritty defending and the necessary slice of luck

It is BS. huge advantage for porto bc they can score away goals in the 2nd leg and have 120mins if needed to do so. 2nd huge advantage is that porto have the way shorter flight.

Agüero and Giroud are hardly comparable. Agüero is still pretty fast and agile. He is the same age as Lewandowski and you do not complain about him physically declining. If we can get Agüero fit again and have him stay healthy he has one more 20+ PL goals season in him. Pep has treated him cirminally. He is still streets ahead of GAbriel Jesus. I do not think he will come here but if there is a chance we should go for him, definitely.
