  1. so? does not appear to be enough to get a decent haircut lol great game livramento. it's like our academy graduates always turn up when we watch them. good point for southampton... armstrong the wannabe striker threw the win away tho
  2. Alonso retains his place on merit of his great start to the season… chalobah does not. Slight double standards
  3. I like how David de gea still sports a beard+hairstyle combination that is probably the least flattering possible one for his face shape for years now. That bushy neckbeard and stupid frizzy half-assed undercut make his anyway long ass head look like half half his body length.
  4. and armstrong misses another 100% cant believe it. southampton are useless
  5. damn armstorng shoul dhave put them in front again here. what a plucker
  6. OMG Livramento dat pace... just sent Fred to fetch coffee
  7. I hate Liverpool as much as the next guy but this move and goal was absolutely beautiful.
  8. 40m is a lot for a 4th cm. ask Drinkwater lol
  9. No, he is actually quite decent but I don't think he is the type of midfielder we are looking for. Not a Jorginho-type holder but fair enough passing and athleticism. No significant weaknesses. Regarded in isolation, he would be a good 4th choice still for 8m but I think we are looking for someone younger with a higher ceiling to be a long-term successor to Jorginho and don't want to buy run-of-the-mill players to block the development of our academy graduates.
  10. I think Saul can actually play a bit like Jorginho, has been holder for Atlético before. however has been off the rails a bit since his injury. Would be mad expensive due to contract till 26 on the plus side he is not in the Spanish squad so maybe a bit more durable
  11. Imagine having to QUALIFY first for the fkin InCompetence Lague and then losing vs some Pub team We are so far ahead now in terms of London clubs. May the City remain blue forever. Can only work in our favour. When ppl think England they think London and when they think Londen they think Chelsea. We should use this dominance to become a bigger brand than even Real VArdrid or ManUre over time. Anyway back to Spuds... they either lost on purpose to not play this stupid or they just did not turn up but will probably win the return leg. but they are gonna lose either way. Either having to travel to the ass end o fthe world in midweek or be forever known as the first English club to be knocked in the InCompetence League qualifiers.
  12. we have a huge advantage over them: he loves the club. so basically we can do a Bayern and just make him sit out his contract till at least 2023 to get a reduced fee.
  13. Dortmund with the chances Bayern with the goal like always
  14. Reus can’t hit a barn door should have been the lead ref incredibly biased like always
  15. Board would be absolutely braindead if they bought mini-Luiz for 90m €. Absolute crazy valuation for the Gervinho of defenders.
  16. Add to that Pogba is on his physical and career peak. He is older than Lukaku ffs while Mount is early 20ies still kinda early in his pro career. ppl tend to think Pogba is still young cos he still plays like a promising youngster when the best part of his career is probably behind him and grandpa league titles are all he has to show for on club level
  17. Shevchenko, Torres, Morata also struggled with the pressure despite being seasoned pros and all that.
  18. he is out of contract next year, so no fee. I don't like this way of accounting anyway but i guess it makes some sense to treat players like inventory, imo they should be treated as intangible assets tho as they carry things like commercial and image rights which sould be used to generate a measurable profit. I guess football accountants are lazy lol
  19. Came across very mature and intelligent in the interview. Surely has grown a lot. Looks at his leanest shape in years, has apparently cut to 93kg Now he just needs to make it work. I just hope the pressure does not get to him.
  20. Opposite for me. Drunk driver joining a retort club funded by Taliban supporters .
  21. They sure must biting themselves for this. 15m is indeed a really low valuation for Alonso. His fitness advantage over all the international players really comes in clutch right now. he does not even look like moving in slow motion atm and reached a few balls that i previously would have thought are beyond him. I know he was on good scoring runs before, but these were 2 of the best games I ever saw from him. On this form he surely is worth a lot more than 15m and given how slow Serie A is, he would set it ablaze on current form. Really hope he manages to maintian this run for a long time before he inevitably reverts to his usual self.
  22. Possible. But i thought he would be signed specifically for the RCB position which we now have more than enough cover for. Next year we might be more in the market for a mid CB or an LCB if Rüdiger leaves. Both of which i thinkt here are better options out there. Today's backline of ---Trev---AC---Toni looked so balanced, might very well be kept for the future. Has it all, pace, power, height, aerial ability, proactivity, aggressiveness and ability on the ball. Chuck Kounde in there and it is not half as balanced.
  23. I know it’s probably the one side we are most comfortable playing against but we looked pretty well rounded. The intensity was good, we kept on playing even after the 2nd. While the first goal was a set piece , I think with our speed and relentless pressure at some point they would have caved in anyway. good thing is we now have a full week to blood lukaku in our defense was amazing, conceded just one real chance. That Ac, Toni, Trev combo looks like one that could work for the future. Midfield was passive as usual…attack rather profligate but good thing is we have Alonso in the form of his life to help us out.
  24. Trev did us a massive one with popping up in the nick of time. Spared us from one of the biggest transfer mistakes in recent memory if we really walk away from kounde bc of him
  25. Kounde who? 2 almost perfect performances and he might have saved us 80m What a debut at the bridge und you could see what it means to him. surley undroppable for the next match
