  1. tbh, i have always seen Lukaku as more of a counter attacking striker cos he needs acres of space of space due to his poor technique. This is where he is his most effective with his power and pace breaking free. He is also quite good shooter from the mid-distance. Still, Lukaku had time enought to develop a more complete skillset and he always knew that ppl wanted him to be more of a target man simply bc that is what you need from your big striker esp when playing against buses. here in the PL his counter attackign ability means jack shit in most games. Very few games, like the one vs Southampton are made for a counter attacking striker and he shat the bed there, so not exactly making a strong point here. TT will be aware of how Lukaku thinks and consider it in his decisions.
  2. Exactly. DFB are the biggest parasites of them all as they are the largest national football association and monitor the most players. Not even players in the austrian league or 2nd Bundesliga are safe from them. This will continue until we stop watching international football. During those I get out of my way to avoid accidentally zapping through the main channels where the games are on by unplugging the co-axial wire at my TV
  3. Only a matter of time till Southgate and the parasites snap up Trev as well and bleed him out at international duty
  4. Look it up. Alonso has had a few games himself where he also scored/assisted while being at fault for a goal conceded.
  5. They are more inverted wingers I would say given how far they track back and how wide they stay off the ball in transition. Werner never really was a wide player more of a second striker. But he lacks the low Centre of gravity and tight ball control/dribbling of the Liverpool duo. That is why he will never have their impact in PL i would love to have wingers with just this little bit of extra physicality and improvisation technique. All our wingers lack this and it makes them so much less decisive
  6. Having salad and mane as wingers must be a dream. We could have had them both so easily
  7. His interplay with Lukaku today was promising. They looked for each other constantly. Lukaku made some nice layoffs for him. Their job was easier given that Southampton almost got 0 protection for their back four. if werner+lukaku were a bit more technically accomplished they could have had a hattrick each today. that is always the danger of having two strikers with similar technical weaknesses. Other than that i think he has been improving every game and slowly regaining his confidence.
  8. Even after the 9th time of watching I am not sure how he managed to get it into the post from 3m and central position. That was a miss worse than Timo’s vs Leeds
  9. it was a pinpoint pass but it is just down to a) him being shit and usually not trusted with these actions b) players nowadays being genereally shit at long range passing compared to the late 00/early 2010s that this is of note. Frank Lampard, Michael Ballack or Fabregas would play these passes blinfolded with their weak foot and no one one would lose a word over it.
  10. He is not that pacy tho. Pulisic and Werner are clearly a lot quicker. Don’t see much of a difference whether he plays LW or RWB tbf
  11. I wasn’t aware before the season how accomplished he already is. Given we bid 80m for hakimi and now have to play Azpi at rwb it clearly shows we should have made more of an effort to keep him. His pace, close control and timing are insane
  12. I like his slim but strong agile athleticism . Like a bballer
  13. Just saw that it’s crazy given he has scored 15 goals for us. He looks comical at times and can’t time his shots to save his life but his attitude is just gold.
  14. what has bringing on jorginho ever helped we all know how this shit is gonna end fkin bottlers
  15. The team clearly let that disallowed goal get into their head
