  1. It is clear by now that all this boyhood dream, club love narrative is a charade. Even though I always doubted his quality as a player, i fully believed Chelsea meant something to him. How wrong I was even in that. There is no way back now. Any relationship between Lukaku and the club can only be transactional now.
  2. That’s how we will start every match - with a huge handicap unless we buy new wingbacks
  3. City can pop the Champaign but at least we proved to ourselves we still got it
  4. Kovacic performed like a god today decent performance and result overall Should have won with better chance conversion but we know how it goes
  5. Werner would have loved this game with all the space they give up in behind
  6. Alonso again just fkin square you useless tool
  7. Usually in Bundesliga if you make a formal complaint vs a ref he does not get to officiate your games for some time like with bvb and zwayer currently when that one ref did not give Pickford a red for injuring vvd he almost went to jail but every ref can fuck us all they want cant believe there are still ppl on here who don’t see this blatant corruption
  8. Two amazing goals fun to watch but we will not win this AT will decide it for Liverpool as usual us you can bet on us wasting more chances but for those 2 great goals I will still be happy I stayed on it
  9. Playing Alonso vs any kind of half decent attack is like an instant 2 goal handicap from the start
  10. This is the result of 0 strategy in transfers and squad planning Got a heart attack the other day when I saw who is on what wages we have amassed a pool of bang average players on super high wages impossible to load of which gives us a bloated squad with apparent depth but 0 quality and compatibility to a system the board has 0 vision for the long term development of the squad
  11. Thanks alonso thats why he is the TC whipping boy. 100% on merit will be a thumping now. Gonna waste another 5 clear chances in the process Rwsponding when backs against the wall my ass
  12. Maybe we should do what arsenal did to us last season. The first teamers are on their last leg. Just inject some energy by playing some of the reserve/youth team guys. esp in the wing back positions they can hardly be any worse than the lethargic azpi/alonso duo.
  13. Now anonymous west ham blitzing palace who had all of the game before. everything is going against us today
  14. This is so annoying. Everybody around us scores late winners while we only concede late
  15. the mindset just is not right. A big portin of late goals is by luck but you gotta force it. Under Conte we had a team that was a lot more confident, determined and relentless. Usually clinical and won like 5 matches in the last few mins that first season. But it is also the players' quality. Just think of how many late winners Drogba and Lampard scored. Those were players who were willing to take on the responsibility and also had the quality to execute the final blow properly. Our players now are often afraid to shoot or are just crap at it.
  16. Anyway, what we can still take from this is we need to shithouse our way through the Liverpool, Spurs and Shitty matches to have any chance of getting something from them
  17. and City with the winner... they are shitting gold smh
  18. TT has a rather mixed to below average record on the markt. It is probably better he does not have that much say here. He tends to make low-key dodgy signings if he gets his way but usually also finds ways to accomodate board signings over time (most big money signings at PSG were probably board sigings). Sometimes he does unearth great talents (Dembele had his best time under him, Guerrerio became quality player= and makes average signings work better than under regular managers. (for example it was reported Gueye, Paredes, Choupo moting, herrera, perreira were his signings at PSG. All did quite well under but pretty much useless for other clubs and managers. Same goes for WEigl, Merino, Castro, Bürki). His attacking signings apart from Mbappe have mostly underperformed (Schürrle, Götze, Immobile). His defensive signings were usually spot on but also tended to crash and burn after he left (Bartra, Kehrer, Polanski, Koch). His best record on the market was arguably during his time in Mainz where he had a habit of finding sub 2m players that later had a more or less respectable top flight career like Szalai, Okazaki, Holtby, Choupo, Karius, Baumgartlinger Anyway, possibly 4 defenders leaving is a problem. but it also gives us the opportunity to shop for a back 4 again or even better players who can play either. Players who are clearly better in a 3atb system are Rüdiger, Azpi, Alonso. All 3 will leave. For Thiago, 3atb protects him better, but then again he is no Ramos and still has a decent bit of pace to not look out of place in a back 4. AC can play both systems. I hope we retain him. Chilly and RJ can work in both. Same as most of our rumoured CB targets. Missing out on Hakimi is even more painful now, but IMO we should have wing backs tht can also play as regular fullbacks and for hakimi that is probably not the case. Theo however can. On the right, there are more attainable options. I could see Mukiele working here in multiple positions and his contract runs out in 2023 so would not cost a ton.
  19. Will be an absolute disaster for sure thanks to the injuries
  20. The game was lost when we lost RJ and AC those two injuries will weigh heavier than the lost 2 points. At this rate, losing two players per game we will not be able to field a full lineup soon despite all the comebacks Hard to turn around a game after losing all subs to injury the whole constellation is not favourable to us having our best players out, Covid, injuries, crazy calendar, corrupted refs, stupid 3 sub rule its bad but we should not throw the kitchen sink yet the league is not there to be won. Even in good form it would be hard to keep pace with a superior city side for which everything falls into place but the teams behind us will drop points too all we need is a a few good transfers and tactical tweaks
  21. As bad as we were it is not as if Brighton had any clear cut chances. We should have put the game to bed on the counter but I predictably failed. That is why we lost points. With all the injuries, Covid and fatigue we are bound to play shit but still should be able to hold on. We need reinforcements in January to even secure top 4
  22. We were poor but the ref killed the game
  23. Also the stomp on Pulisic got nothing shafted by the ref again
  24. So coming just after Mount scored a perfectly legit goal
  25. Can’t gamble on it. We get 2 injuries every game so subs can’t be used to influence the game fKin joke this
