Amateur stuff from our board once more on so many levels
-
That is the kind of football a player like Broja allows you to play with his runs. Very well rounded at such a young age already. a little more clinicalness and presence in the game and he could play for us in a year or so
-
I don’t think they would do that if he failed as coach there. The fit would still not be better. Just as RR has never coached those big star players before he also has never decided on buying any. He specialises in builiding hungry, energetic young teams. If Manure were to adhere to that mission, he could be great as director but I doubt the glazers will allow him the time even in that role. They want to generate marketing revenue with big name signings not built a footballing future. RR does have a 2 year consultancy contract in the bag tho. So he might retain some Influency in any case

Rangnick is a world class manager. Just ask Tommy. He won the DFB-Pokal and got to the CL semis with fkin Schalke. Most of the footy Klopp, Tuchel, flick and other german coaches now play is based on Rangnick's ideas. He just never choose to work for a big club before. He and ManUre is apparently an ill fit tho. Manure are just poorly managed overall imo. The board has no clear vision of how they want to develop the club apart from the business side. Similar to our situation tbf but our board is still a tad smarter and we managed to pass that winning mentality on from the Mourinho side. ManUre lost it when Fergie left.

Not sure about Dest, as i have not seen him play enough but someone like him who is young as well as decent on both feet and sides of the defence would be a good compromise. We would not get into the 5 left backs dilemma in summer, if it does not work out has re-sell value and can fill in both sides as long as both our starting wing backs are not fit yet.

True. You could argue on current form, Kepa is more useful in games where we do not allow many shots anyway. This makes Mendy a bigger miss when we are playing City and a wounded Spurs but might help us in the other games.
-
Yeah But more than 99% of clubs don’t come into question for a player of this quality anyway I would prefer 99% of Italian cities over milan tho also if i were an ambitious footballer I would rather play for a top pl club than in Italy
-
It keeps amazing me how ac Milan despite being an a solute failure as a club in recent years manage to retain quite a few top players
-
As long as he does not get bad Covid, him testing positive is good for us. Better positive with the nt than missing games for us
-
Despite the poor opposition most our attackers especially Ziyech demonstrated impressively why they are not good enough to be playing for us
-
Probably the only chance of a lifetime to watch us beat Chesterfield while I sit on a Chesterfield sofa. Been waiting for this since the day i bought it lol
-
they can't all 4 play together. Benz is getting old and we still need to see Haaland with a strike partner in a top league.
-
In other news, the battle between the two ex-Chelsea Strikers aka Milan vs Roma was comprehensibly won by Giroud. Tammy deflected a Theo shot with his arm and gifted Oli a pen. Girou then assisted a 2nd via the post, Tammy scored the goal for Roma too.

Let’s not get ahead of ourselves One swallow does not make a summer ehat he delivered yesterday was merely what we should expect he is a top earner at the club Kovacic is leagues ahead. Have you seen how his passing range improved this season. Just look at his through ball for Lukaku vs villa at home no way saul will stay and neither should he

I thought was alright under the circumstances. Sarr Alonso is obviously very shaky and they targeted them. But we limited a very competent attack to a couple of half chances so can’t complain
-
Also again 2 injuries. Really can’t catch a break Simply have to buy i like that the back 4 system gives us a bit more attacking options but obviously can’t fix our profligate finishing
-
Was clearly eager to do well but completely crumbled under the pressure poor finishing all game
-
Performance ok but terrible finishing again
-
Dwight McNeil for 40m wtf... the mere sound of that has me up in arms. That would be the most EPL transfer ever. Overrated bang average English chap with 3 years left on contract going for roughly the same fee that brought liverpool the best player in the world lol. McNeil the slow-mo dribbler is exactly the kind of signing we should avoid forever. he only looks like having half decent technique bc he plays for fkin Burnley. Championship level player
-
Manure not looking a RR team at all yet. 0 intensity deserved win for wolves
-
While the board sucks balls doing transfers from a position of strength like demonstrated this summer (and the one in 2017, 2015, 2010, 2006 and every summer we won a big title apart from 05 and arguably 12), it is quite adept at fixing holes during times of need, so I can not see it being idle atm. The worry I have is more that we can not really trim the squad sufficiently again. I am not 100% sure but CHO is our only 21 or under player and if we not register baker or bettinelli we have exactly 25 players in the squad. So we have to get rid of someone to buy anew. and since we have most of our duds on too high wages we will struggle to offload which puts us in a terrible sales position. So we might be better advised to sell barkley first before buying.

He speaks with this huge lisp, which for a German always sounds a bit childish bc our language is a lot about the exacting pronounciation of s-, ss-, z- and ß-sounds.
-
Lukaku has such a nice deep and calm voice, he made ppl think he was smart despite being daft as a brush. So he is like the opposite of Werner and Chilwell who sound dumb as toast but possess at least average intelligence.
-
Proved his worthlessness once more. Absolute cancer. Nevermind the goal his poor defending cost us, 3 times he could have crossed to a better positioned team mate, 3 times he shot into the stands
