  1. I've said it before and I'll say it again, If opponents sit deep, we cant score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. Erm guyssssssss, are u watching man utd and city,
  3. This team can't score if the opponent stays deep, end of discussion, pathetic display.
  4. Imo the third goal came from a counterattack that was stopped because when we watch the play, Willian chooses not to pass to Oscar who was unmarked and instead retreats to the flanks and then passes to eto. Tht is a clear indication of choosing possession over counter. it might've initially been a counter but that momentum was lost long before the William strike.
  5. Good game!! but Anyone feel we still haven't found a way to crack the opposition when they are sitting deep?? All three goals came from a counter attack scenario.
  6. Thanxs for the post mate. Can't believe media can get away with this sort of shit. Oh well, it will only strengthen our us vs them metality.
  7. http://m.guardian.co.uk/football/2013/jul/27/jose-mourinho-special-chelsea Not sure if someone posted this article already but a nice read. Gives an insight of how he wants mata and hazard to play.
  8. I kinda agree with you. It's like killing two birds with one stone. Not only you get a decent striker (which we are in need of) but also will lower Utd's morale. IMO I think the priority is in the latter one.
  9. Out of all the midfielders that have played this pre season, only him seems to dictate the tempo comfortably. Mou should give him a start in the next game, just to see what he does.

  11. Someone plz put the Michael Scott's NO gif on this thread.
  12. I can see Mata's future as a RCAM in a 4-2-3-1. Or RW In a 4-3-3. Also I think he can play as a SS in a two striker formation.
  13. This guy is a proof that our youth system is world class. What a player!! Blew me away.
  14. Cole and Cech are likely to stay for a season or two, they still have something to offer IMO, hope both of them end their career here, where they belong. But beside that I think you're right.
  15. So true. A perfect example would be Robben.
  16. I pretty sure the media twisted his words like always.
  17. Yeah, Thts the bitter truth, I guess. We can leave out Harzard because I think he will own the right side. The problem is Oscar and Mata. Maybe the solution for now is rotating them, eventhough we may not like it. One formation tht wil suit them both IMO is 'the diamond' St-Mata -Oscar- de bruyne-Ramires -De Rossi- Cole-luiz-Iva-Azpi I knw this wil never happen but, just to experiment on incoperating Those two. Do you think this team is balanced and can work?
  18. I agree with you. So how do we incoperate Oscar and Mata in the first 11? Any suggestions, because the way I see it mata has to adapt himself to play on the wings, if we want oscar to reach his full potential he has to play a more central role. Let's take a formation for an example: Hazard-ST- Mata Oscar De rossi- Ramires Cole-Iva-Luiz-Azpi Knowing mata, we should probably let him drift inwards and to cover for him, we can have Ramires and Azpi in the flanks covering him. This is the only way I see we can incoperate both Oscar and Mata and get the best out of them. What do you think? U have any alternative in your mind?
  19. Some of my friends who support other teams are still afraid of Torres. IKR.
  20. Glad that you think so too. Gives me assurance that i'm not crazy. Yeah it would defo take the shackles of Mikel. Not only that but the pivot could turn into an actual pivot meaning, there wont be any specific role for the two, one could cover for the other while one advances forward or advances to pressurize the opponent. lol, but hey continental drifts are unstoppable.
  21. There's no doubt tht Oscar can play as an Amf in 4-3-3. Didn't he play tht sorta role in The Confed cup?
  22. Whos to say De Rossi- Mikel in the pivot won't work?? Not tht it's gonna happen, but doesn't mean it won't work.
  23. Makelele wasnt and he did just fine. Fellaini plays best when he is further up the field, im not sure about him giving the CDM positon, de Rossi on the otherhand has proven both in international and club level. He also happens to be the right age 29 (previously I thought he was older). IMO, older players are best suited in the CDM position. U really don't need to be bulky if you can anticipate, and older players usually have have gained enough experience to do just tht. And with young players coming up I see him as a more of a short term solution.
