Ok sounds great - what do I need to do Obviously register on the site, but what next? Can't wait... Wonder how it compares to FM and FML, both projects I worked on previously
-
When's the next round start - wouldn't mind joining in on this

Wilkommen! I'm also in Osterreich - Salzburg (Anif) - whereabouts are you?

That's cool with me - every board needs a logical, dispassionate view. I'll admit - after spending the weekend watching Chelsea TV and the former years, I probably have rose-tinted glasses on and for a few mins last night (2:50am in Salzburg) Essien had glimpses of that player I'd just been watching on Chelsea TV. As the saying goes "One swallow doesn't make a summer..." - but despite all that - my heart is telling me Essien has the potential for a great season... Bizarrely, Football is perhaps the only place I let 'emotion' run my thought process - perhaps because in work have to be very clinical... The debate around Lamps is an interesting one - I'll certainly check out the thread and take a look which colour glasses I'm wearing

Awesome = he will join us NOT AWESOME = now I will be watching every game cringing when even the slightest tackle is made on him, it will be just our luck that he'll get crocked!
-
Yup fair enough - my last post was very childish - like I said - post rage No hard feelings and all that... I still think Essien has something to deliver this year, but lets agree to disagree... I definitely agree with Oscar, Hazard and Marin et al - that is our future...
-
Hope you do rip out your testicals and cut out your tongue - and do me a favour - hack of your hands as well so you cannot type any more bollox... Go back to FIFA or FM - where you can sign Fellani and/or Cabeye and make yourself happy - if you've got the bollox or hands to do it of course... Having an 'angry @ post moment'....
-
That's harsh - he's definitely not shit... I wouldn't mind him on the bench for us, good alternative if we need 3 points against Stoke City
-
I agree - Brazil v Spain is a pretty tough one to call - it will depend upon the players on the day - it could go either way, but I think Spain might edge it as a 'Team' - they just have soooo much playing time together both domestically and internationally...

Everything is a gamble - but WE (CFC) owe Essien one last chance IMHO. He's been a fantastic player for us, never complaining (that I can recall) and giving 100% - yes injuries have hampered his performance, but if he can shake them off and regain some form, he is still a cracking player. Replacing him with a younger, un-tested player is a bigger gamble (again IMHO) - you do need to blend youth+experience and Essien certainly has the experience. Plus - where else would you see a fantastic smile like that - the guy never stops smiling, that has to be a postive/calming thing both in the dressing room and on the pitch. Really concerned that some people don't recognise that Footballers are also 'human people' and as such, normal events that affect us, also affect them. I mean if you're a computer programmer and injured both hands, it would take a while to get back to typing good code quickly, you would want YOUR employer to be patient wouldn't you, after all, you programmed some awesome code previously....? We need to keep a 'family' atmoshphere at CFC and not be so mercenary, otherwise, we'll be no better than Man Shitty...

LOL Love it - now people are arguing not how bad Kakuta is playing, but over who previously praised him How I see it - Kakuta was a great prospect, he so far hasn't delivered, he's now past the 'potential' stage and should be delivering. Is it confidence, ability or a blend? I actually think it's a deeper issue - if the reports are to be believed of his poor 'training' whilst on loan. That's either a fundamental lack of talent, or a really bad attitude - if it's the former, goodbye, if it's the latter then an attempt should be made to rectify, if no resolution - then bye bye...

Hmm - trouble is - where in the 'Premiership' do you get 'time'.... The only chance we have is if we blood the youngsters during the 'worthless cup' - like Arsenal do... Otherwise, we need to fight for every point in every PL game - look how far behind we finished last year. Man City also have a relatively (for them) settled squad and WILL hit the ground running IMHO - we need to be firing on all cylinders come the first game against Wigan! Just don't see where we can 'risk' playing him any further - a loan spell to a decent championship/lower premiership team might be the only option.

78 million? Nah - not for me thanks... I think that 'price tag' really affects Strikers... Puts them under too much pressure and "they fold like a cheap whore being hit in the stomach by a fat dude..." - Futurama quote I think...

Love the fact that Modric has refused to travel with the 'Spuds' - and Daniel Levy and the 'Spuds' fans are outraged! Last year he wanted to move, Levy promised him CL if he stayed. Result: - No CL for the Spuds, therefore, under his agreement with the baboon Levy - Modric is entitled to leave, but as usual, the baboon is going back on his word, so Modric is doing the only thing he can, refuse to play... Fair play to Modric - he lived up to his part of the bargain and THFC failed him... And AVB speaking openly to the 'Press' about it, is just plain stupid - AVB will tear that dressing room to pieces! Can't wait...

Lol admit I was stressed - but annoyed we look so second rate against PSG, who have more players to come in (I know we do too) But defence without JT and Ash Cole looks woeful! I still want to kneecap that donkey Ferdinand for the choc-ice comment.

Think Hutcho is playing well think he is ok
