  1. Agree... Neymar was worse than Torres last night in terms of misses Definite potential - would it evaporate on a cold night in Stoke? Probably... Just doesn't look mentally tough enough... As @the only place to be said - I think he rather likes being a big fish in a small pond.... For £20-£25 million he's worth a punt though
  2. Yup - could never fault his work-rate, passion and commitment - not the most technically gifted player, but the former points make up for that... That's why we miss players like Luiz, big heart, plays with everything... Need to bottle that spirit and spread it around our current team...
  3. This is a BULLSHIT figure - UTD spent more money in the earlier years - so INFLATION needs to be added to that, as well as taking into account market value... So 15 years ago £25 million would get you ANY player ! - Add cumulative INFLATION and an uplift in Market - that £25 million is now easily £60-70 million... Do that to the figures - then show me how 'low down' UTD are... Hate this bullshit way of portraying statistics!
  4. Hutcho c'mon Man - TalkSport? - I respect you n'all... but.... TalkSport... pffff
  5. Hmm it's a tough one to call - from a business perspective you have to have a policy and go with it, that's exactly what's happened here. They had a policy, Frank didnt fit, but they have analysed the situation and decided on an 'exception' to the rule. Yes it looks rubbish from our perspective - but trust me - business ain't easy - if we had no policy - we would end up like Leeds or Blackburn... So a 1yr extension should work well for both parties. Some might also argue it's been an inspired piece of 'motivational' business Or, being used as a 'peace offering token' by the board to pacify supporter unrest?
  6. I don't think it was just player power - AVB to be fair is a bit of a cock when talking to him, looks like he rubbed the players up the wrong way and was then unable to build bridges to reconcile the situation? So both parties are guilty, but I can understand the player perspective - you give your all for a club and get benched with a new guy who hasn't really given you a chance. I think AVB thought he could dominate the dressing room without first building a relationship - but we all know how that turned out If you look at him with Spurs now - he's definitely toned his behaviour down and modified it and is now enjoying some success...
  7. Wow show me them reports Been so busy @work no time to crawl der Internet
  8. Yup well done Got home late, watched footy missus cooked me steak, now going sleep at 1am, been a good day despite being a 2 time loser I blame Rafa
  9. Honestly - don't bother with the POLL... Let Stingray have it - I can't be arsed with it anymore...
  10. No not a great idea By the rules - I should have won @ lunchtime lol.... 1 vote is enough Or are we now going for 'proportional geographic representation'
  11. Lol Rafa needs to learn his audience - if the players are confused - explain it better!!! Maybe the break from him will do them good? Perhaps they will come back having spent time with their international managers in a better frame of mind?
  12. Lol that's really cheered me up Just been given some amazing sleeping pills - wonder if they will work until May? Our luck although used up last year, does need to change - it's gone from shit to megashit, hopefully it will go back to 'neutral' Just a good old 3-0 win will do me nice
  13. So am I right in assuming this is the longest break the majority of the squad have had with Rafa? So come Saturday we should see an amazing performance, with tactics and everything? Because anything less than a WIN is not acceptable... Please GOD let us win, I just want a happy weekend
  14. I think everybody on the forum deserves to be able to do that - regardless of being a 'runner-up' - I know I'm certainly encouraging it... I wonder... how many Chelsea fans in a line, would it take to kick him from SB to Madrid? According to google it's 1,269 miles!!!!
  15. Also is it Belgium vs England? (Stingray vs Me?).... Dam, if only we hadn't signed those 'pesky' Belgium players.... victory would have been mine... (cheap play on Scooby Do line - and Stewie from Family Guy)
  16. Yeah it's to be expected honestly last month was my month After my PSU blew up today knew it was gonna be bad
  17. Lol it's cool I like the anonymous polls Less pressure, people vote how they feel and hey, changing your mind is cool - that's what freedom of speech is all about I used to like @hutcho_cfc
  18. Lol I had 16 votes a minute ago, now I have 15 So some MOTM fixing going on?!!!!?!!!? - just calling Interpol, this is bigger than CL fixing!!! If I find out the Germans (who I'm living next to are involved again!!!! )..... Well lets just say scheise!!!
  19. Lmao Hutcho the Capitalist I'm sure Stingray is a stand up guy that wouldn't ever consider stooping that low
  20. Wow so close Just glad it's all in good spirits - even in Rafa days, we can still have a joke on a thread with no flaming or insults Great work
