Hmm it's a tough one to call - from a business perspective you have to have a policy and go with it, that's exactly what's happened here. They had a policy, Frank didnt fit, but they have analysed the situation and decided on an 'exception' to the rule. Yes it looks rubbish from our perspective - but trust me - business ain't easy - if we had no policy - we would end up like Leeds or Blackburn... So a 1yr extension should work well for both parties. I don't think it was just player power - AVB to be fair is a bit of a cock when talking to him, looks like he rubbed the players up the wrong way and was then unable to build bridges to reconcile the situation?
