His agent Christophe Henrotay even said Copenhagen would be great for Lukaku, but Chelsea won't allow it. The Danish league is pretty weak, around the same level as the Belgian, but he would also get lots of European experience in either CL or Europa League.

To be fair to the lad last season wasn't the best season to be trying to impress, alot of the squad played their worst football of their Chelsea careers last season. Fingers crossed we'll get out of the blacks running in pre-season and the early league games and see the team playing with more fluidity and confidence. That'll make it easier for the likes of Lukaku to impress and force thier way into the first team.

Totally agree. Spain and Barcelona are both guilty of this. They far too often stroke the ball about for stroking the ball abouts sake. It can be attractive but on nights like tonight it can also be incredibly boring.
The only thing I really like about Spain is Torres and Mata, so I watch their games to see how they do. With Torres on and obviously wanting him to produce something, it was so frustrating watching them make horizontal pass after horizontal pass, and rarely advancing in to the final third. When they did try and get in it was useless, much like Barcelona playing us. There were at least 8 men sat behind the ball dictating what Spain could do, and ultimately it meant there was very little for Torres to feed off. Navas only got the goal in the end because Croatia were going forward hoping to take the lead.

He was invisible but to be fair to the lad there's not much more he could have done today when Spain was all about keeping possession and not even trying to play the ball to Torres.

Oh behave, any footballer would jump at the chance to represent their country at the olympics, it may not be the Euro's or WC but it's a once in a lifetime opportunity for the player as an individual. The olympics is the biggest sporting event in the world & to say you played in one as a player is quite an achievement. Fair play to him I hope he does well.
