With this transfer i 100% trust Jose as his knowledge of Porto and Inter/Serie A is as good as anyone's! if he wants this player then he must have something about him! i am pretty sure he will improve our team! I was not sure on Schurrle and was never really impressed with him before we signed him but now having seen him up close for us, i think he is a great signing! and a top talent! bottom line - Jose Knows!

Your clearly frustrated with those performances! which is understandable but those performances do not sum Luiz up! those were uncharacteristic performances from him! I guarantee Luiz will shut a lot of people up once again this season!

I dont know how you can say Luiz doesn't give 100%! Maybe you can question some performances this season but every game he has played for the club apart from a few this season i have always felt he has given everything! It wasn't long ago when people were saying Luiz can be our future captain!

I Guarantee i could name far more games where Luiz was brilliant compared to the few where he was poor! Your clearly one of those people who think the world is going to end when Luiz makes a mistake! Last season Luiz had spells where he was world class at CB game after game for weeks then he could make a mistake and people like you would start crying and be like 'he cant defend' ect while conveniently forgetting how good he had been in previous weeks! your probably also the type of person who when you see the likes of Kompany, Vidic, T.Silva, Dante, Ramos, Puyol ect make mistakes you probably see it as an uncharacteristic mistake when in actual fact Luiz doesn't make much more mistakes then any of those guys!

Exactly this! I have been saying this since last season, Luiz doesn't make many more mistakes then any other top defender in the world! only difference with Luiz is when he makes a mistake people act like its the end of the world! Luiz is one of the top 5 CB's in the world imo! I guarantee if you asked players like Rooney or Aguero how good Luiz is they will tell you he is a top class defender! people listen to clueless people in the media too much!

Messi is the better player! and has been better than Ronaldo overall this year! if you base it on individual performances in 2013 Messi has performed alot better then CR7, Ronaldo has the better stats this year as Messi has had injury problems, but as we know stats dont tell the whole story! only reason why its close this year is because Messi has had injury problems this season, and people seem to only remember what each player has done in the last few months rather then looking at what each has done in the entire year! Like Bale last season because he performed well from January to May everyone remembered that and forgot how average he was in the first 4/5 months of the season! If it had been the other way around and Ronaldo was suffering with injury this season then no one would even be debating that Ronaldo should win it! i think that says it all really.

Wow! people are seriously underestimating Atletico Madrid! City and Arsenal would have no chance at all against them! They could easily win the CL this year!

Really hope we get Galatasaray! It will be nice to see Didier back at athe Bridge and to give him a great reception! but it will also be weird seeing him play against us!

not really, it works both ways! I think the reason why people overreact to a decent performance from Torres is because people overreact to a poor performance from Torres! when Torres has a pretty average game or misses a decent chance he gets slaughtered way more then any other player would! which is why people overreact when he does well. same with Luiz, he can have 10 world class performances at CB in a row then in the 11th game he could make a mistake and people will come out and say he cant defend, and he is a liability ect!

How can you say we have no chance against Barca! they hate playing against us! we know how to beat them and will be even more dangerous on the counter then we have ever been against them! when was the last they actually beat us? and also we would certainly have a chance against Bayern also as we showed in the super cup! but anyway we will win the group and get Galatasaray in the last 16 and welcome Didier back to the bridge!
