Spurs haven't been tested yet beside the trip to the emirates, which they failed. I have no doubt they will be a very decent side in the future, but it's too early for AVB to have the balls to go all out vs Jose. I think AVB will play it safe, knowing way too well what we can do on the counter.. I'm tipping a 0-0 draw very similar to the United game..
Easy for you guys. Over here it's on at 2:30am so its too early to go to sleep and wake up for and i end up getting to bed at 4:30. If we win the excitement keeps me up till 5:30 and if we lose i don't fall asleep till 8:30. So in other words SHUT THE FUCK AND STOP COMPLAINING!! LOL Lucky pricks!!
I take it for what it is. I'm a football fan but since the EPL is the only competition shown over here on Foxtel, I'd rather all the superstars play in it. I use to watch La Liga more then the EPL, unfortunately I was the only one and ESPN noticed that and decided not to show the games any more.
I'm so excited at the fact we get to see players like özil, Willian, Soldado, Paulinho, fernandinho, Navas etc play every week. Spain might have the two best teams in the world, but other then those two, la liga is as boring as bat shit.
I would love to see a reserve grade competition. Have them play before or after the first team on game day. Like I've said it before, some players thrive on big crowds. This would also appease those who actually worry about our youth set-up not getting the right opportunities. We have a very similar competition for the NRL and its been a massive success.
Vic didn't look very happy in that shit-hole. I can't see him getting much time on the field once Suarez comes back. Would have prefered loan him to WBA or Swansea.
He will have plenty of counter-attacking football this season. If he stays, my tip will be that he'll score a few, but then again, it's Fernanado Torres, so who knows??
I understand your frustration mate, but you have to move on and look at the bigger picture. We nearly beat Bayern with 10 men, Torres scored a stunner, Eto'o is a Chelsea player, Mou is back and so will the glory days. By next May, you won't even remember what this trophy was called and when we played for it. Head up.
if your gonna lose sleep over the UEFA revenue cup, your in the wrong place. I was more upset about losing to the most overrated football manager in history, not some piece of tin.
A point at OT is nothing to be ashamed of. Last year we won a dead rubber there. Don't think for a second it would have been the same result if United were playing for something. My opinion is that both teams were just happy to check the water before diving in.. A typical early season game. Let's move on to Bayern now.
