Yeah I'm not sure what everyone is moaning about. I'm sure they'll love it if they come back to draw or whatever after me saying this. But other than missing a couple of chances how can you be negative about that first half. It was non stop "we will struggle at St James Park, without silva etc". Of course timo needs to score and we need to take some of those chances but we played great. Classic TC

We are fantastic. Just keep it up and take some chances second half. Come on boys, I love this team
-
Playing so well we gotta capitalise on this
-
No callum Wilson is huge
-
As expected. Great team. Let's get it
-
Havertz had symptoms I believe (mild but still) and Ronaldo is a different animal in terms of fitness to anyone on the planet and is the single most important player on any team he's on. So it's a very different situation. I wouldn't play him vs newcastle either. People were accusing Frank of being the reason for his injuries and now people are saying he's being too cautious so he can't win. Just due to jet lag and fitness levels for his age. He looks in tip top shape but he seems pivotal for us is I'd rather he gets rested here and there than potentially miss key games where he is definitely gonna be needed. Of course questions will be asked if we lose vs newcastle and he doesn't play but that'll happen with all decisions as is the way of the world.
-
He's taken him off after 60 mins so should be fine. Plenty of Chelsea connections in that backroom staff I'm sure the England boys are all being looked after.
-
Oh I fully agree with that. Unless he's needed he should be allowed to leave if he doesn't wanna be here. I'd rather have 1 less player than have a player that doesn't want to be here. Now if January comes round and puli and timo are both injured then that changes things and I imagine giroud would want to stay.
-
It's great news hes on the bench. I'd expect him to play Saturday
-
Mount will be fine. On the plus side he's probably our fittest player who doesn't seem to have an injury proneness and the playing regularly and scoring for England will no doubt increase his confidence which will be good for us.
-
It's pretty simple. One is 23 one is 34. One plays similarly to the way we want to play the other offers a completely different option. Whilst I'm sure everyone knows right this second giroud is arguably the better striker if you analyse them individually as a team tammy is done well and if its close you're gonna lean towards the kid who could be a part of the team for many years to come over the 34 year old he may go soon. Giroud offers something completely different which will have its uses at times for sure.
-
Well come January we'll know a lot more then as its the next 2 months which will be the busiest. He's earned his move away if he wants to play for the euros. We'll know come January how needed he is. Injuries before he'll get minutes and stay. If there's no injuries when we hit mid January then he can go. And if injuries come after we have 3 players who can play striker well and can recall our loan army if we needed to.
-
If he wants to go play more regularly then let him go play more regularly. He's still great and in another situation he'd be leading our line but he isn't gonna get the minutes he wants with the competition we have and whilst he's probably the best 3rd choice striker in the league by a million miles it's understandable why he doesn't get loads of games for us given our current situation. Now if any injuries happen between now and then, then of course that would change things.
-
Turns out doesn't matter how we play they'll still be a million negative nancies every week. Sure its shit not having Chilwell and probably not silva but the next people have to step up. We've been playing great let's keep it running. Newcastle have injury doubts too. Callum Wilson being the main one. It's not just Chelsea who have injury concerns, it's effecting all teams and most worse than us.
-
Doesn't mean anything though. Especially with no fans in the stadium. The only game that matters is the one that's upcoming and there is no reason to believe we are at a disadvantage because we've struggled previously when a lot of the reasons we've struggled aren't present.
-
How so... We don't even know the outcome yet. If he misses one game how is the internationals the reason we won't be competing. We have benefited if anything due to the injuries some of our big rivals have suffered. Now if hes out for the season then you'd have a point. But I'm 99 percent sure it's not that serious of an injury. So maybe 1 game without Chilwell isn't gonna be the reason we win or don't win the title.
-
On the brightside it could just be a back spasm or something. Bit of deep heat will sort him right out.
-
Literally anyone but Chilwell
-
Please not Chilwell
-
Milner will be better defensively than Trent at RB. Obviously they'll lose a lot going forward though. Sort of like a more extreme version of going from James to azpi. The centre back pairing will be interesting though.
-
Watching AFTV stream is amazing.
-
They won but they were terrible. Not worried about spurs at all
-
We have 7 new players lol. Our team is nothing like ours from last year. And Kepa. Pre kepa and post kepa are 2 totally different teams it's not even remotely close. A fluke goal from any player in any team can kill us. We can't switch off in any game ever. There is no reason to be more negative about this game than any other.
-
So we're due a win then...
