I think this system will work as we want. Just need to play mount where jorginho is and then get pulisic or ziyech in there so our midfield 2 is dynamic with the creativity. But giroud doesn't fit this system as even when we are getting pressed we still don't just lump it to him.

What about every other player that plays in there? Mount has been one of our best players so weird how you'd single him out, when the reason he is playing is because the other cams are underperforming. Foden is a phenomenonal talent and a much more attacking mid than mount is. A better comparison would be pulisic or havertz.

They do. Lampard needs to be better for sure with his tactics and decision making. But he can't do the work for them and I think it's fair to expect more from a lot of the players. But it is a crazy season. Ole was terrible, then it was arteta, now ole is amazing and title contenders and arteta has righted the ship so I wouldn't write anything off. He hasn't lost the dressing room which is important and he can right the ship I believe but there is a lot of work needed. I don't think they will sack him before the end of the season but we will need to start performing the next 5/10 games. Whether we go into the January window or not though will be interesting. I doubt they'll want to chuck more money at it if they think they're gonna sack him in the spring/summer.

Nice for kai to get an assist at least. But we have a 2 week gap (barring Morecombe) to sort some shit out and get going for a very important run of games that will likely define the season. Lampard needs to be better, the players need to be better everything needs to be better. Callum looked good when he came on (even without the goal)
