  1. I mean't more in talent and how Portugal heavily rely on him... and yeah, he seems to not have a really huge ego which is key.
  2. I will love it if hazard becomes belgiums equilivilant of Ronaldo in the portugal squad. That would be good for us...
  3. Yes good shout. Would fill a role as a backup striker, has experiece in the premier league obviously and has a 7 mil buy out clause. Yes he went a bit missing towards the end of last season for newcastle, though papiss cisse's arrival pushed him to play in a position which he wasn't exactly suited to.
  4. I am seriously struggling to work out how belgium didn't qualify for the euros. TBH they have a better attack than us. (to clarify us being england)
  5. You know what else needs a lot of midfielders? A 5 man midfield that will probably have the longest season we have had with more games than ever, and a torres that needs as much support in behind.
  6. Just need the titanic soundtrack, and you have yourself a best seller.
  7. Someone should check his right foot for velcro...
  8. True, i want to give torres another season, with him knowing he is our number 1 striker, also our supply line is greater than ever and they should be able to set up a lot of goals and in many cases such as hazard to score a fare few as well. Add lampards 15 goals a season then if torres can pitch in 20 or so goals then we are on the right track.
  9. NOooo, not berbatov or owen... please , i would rather have victor moses tbh, or schurle for around 12 mil, if we were going to bring in a more experienced cheaper striker, though apparently they want 20, or declined 20
  10. Agreed, one game is probably a little soon for the messi links, but his balance and ability to break tackles without going to ground is very messi-esque. Also he came from ligue 1, yes its not as good as the premier league, but its not like he came from the polish league of something... He was also player of the league for 2 seasons in a row. I feel confident and optimistic that he will have a big impact in his first season, and will be as big a player as mata is for us if not eventually better becuase of his age better. And we don't have to worry about who is better, as they are both starters in our team.... Now that is something to smile about
  11. I was simply stating that he will reach his peak in a few years, doesn't mean he will be bad up to there, but hopefully improving and should hopefully be very good. I see your point however the problem is that we only have 3 strikers and loaning him would mean we need a new striker, which could put him further down the pecking order.. Experience would be good for him though so if we were to get cavani then he would have to be loaned i think as probably wouldn't get much of a chance behind them 2 and potentially sturridge.
  12. More of a jack and coke man, but there are plenty of websites such as http://www.cocktailmaking.co.uk/displayingredient.php/87-lime-juice
  13. Happy birthday to both of you... Mine as well lol.
  14. As great as that looks on paper in attack, unfortunately teams like Man city etc would rip that apart.
  15. If thorgan is better than eden then that kid must be messi like.
  16. He could smash Heskey for pace. A bit unfair tbh. He is still improving and may not hit his best for 5 years. He is only 19 aswell so could eve get taller...
  17. He was pretty good imo, especially for someone who everyone (including me) at times compares to drogba which is unfair on him. His first touch wasn't great yesterday/today (whatever), but you saw in his second goal his emence strength, and pace to power passed the defender. For me i would hate to see him go on loan. He has a great chance of getting some games this season, as a backup to torres, and has shown he can be better than useful. Also if we loan him, we need to get someone else in as we can't just have 2 strikers, so why not keep him, and give him a chance.
  18. True, i was very pleased with his performance, but with mata and hazard occupying the left and middle which ever way round they want, Marin might have to play on the right, which wouldn't be a bad thing, as he always cut inside, whereas being on the right would definately encourage him to cross a bit more, Hazard can use any foot which makes it even better if he is on a wing as he can go both ways and be just as good.
  19. Yeah its a tough one, he played well on the most part, but it is clear there are still a few people ahead of him in the pecking order. He can be a squad player and get a few minor games and of the bench appearences or go on loan... Personally i would rather see him go to a club and be thier "star", to give him some premier league experience, and more importantly lots of games this year. Rather that than keep him on the bench and hopefully he can start properly at chelsea next season.
  20. If he doesn't want to go on loan as some people have said then i think your right, as i can't see him having a role next season. He needs to gain some play time, at a club where he can be a starter and get lots of games going. TBH with all the new players we have signed and due to the fact that hardly anyone has left or gone on loan yet it may be hard for him to make the bench... its unfortunate but the truth.
  21. Hi guys, i don't know if you already do one each year, but was thinking we could create a TALK CHELSEA mini legue on the sun's dream team website or on the premier league website, its coming out soon. but just wanted to see if anyone would be interested. It would be a laugh... Just say if you are... If of course TC already does one, then ignore this, but thought it might be a good idea...
  22. I know i have said this alot, but he was so good yesterday, and it was just his first game in preseason... And the fact he goes round player and breaks tackles as opposed to just falling over, will really make him a favourite. If andy caroll was actually worth 35 mi, then this kid is worth a 100. What makes it even better is that he could have signed for city or united, so we would have had to play against this guy.
  23. It wasn't the goals that were impressive, it was the movement, especially of hazard as well as his first touch, and strength, for a smaller guy.
  24. 1st chelsea. Imo we have the best squad in the league with great depth. 2nd man city. Only team who's sqaud is as deep as ours and has the calliabre of player. 3rd Man Utd. Fergie makes a fairly average team on paper to title contenders most years, but tbh i can't see it this season, they still have a load of shit.. 4th Arsenal. Will smash the small teams but still lose to the big ones. 5th Tottenham. If they can keep hold of bale and bring in a replacement for Modric then they could have a good season. 6th Newcastle. If they can keep hold of thier good players they can have another good season, be tough to surpass last season. 7th Everton 8th Liverpool - Scouse team is shit, even though the fans think they are a top 4 team lol. 9th Fulham 10th Sunderland, better season than last. 11th stoke 12th Aston villa. 13th Southhampton 14th Wigan 15th West ham 16th Swansea 17th Norwhich 18th southhampton 19th West brom 20th QPR Anton ferdinand can suck it. FA cup Chelsea Carling Cup Chelsea Champions league Tottenham.... Oh wait.... , Barcelona will be back with a vengence i fear, Shock of the season Cech scores more goals than downing. Top scorer in the Prem: Eden Hazard with 26. Remember you heard it here first
