I know, i honestly can't think of a time when it was launched to him and he lost an arial battle in this game.

It looks a bit more of a 4-2-3-1, Welbeck up top, rooney playing left, kagawa in the hole, and Nani right, with scholes and cleverly in behind. Though rooney and welbeck seem to be switching a bit and now rooney seems down the middle and welbeck left... Begs the question why not play Ashley young instead of welbeck.

Rvp on at half time probably, and scholes gonna get sent off. Tbh, the best united player has been de gea.

TBH, this will probably sound stupid but his hold up play and strength he has shown in this game alone has been a bit reminiscent of a certain didier drogba. Winning it in the air, out muscling everyone and powering through... Looking good in this more advanced position..

Good start by everton the best of the chances to them... Probably means united will go and score now but everton looking better tbh.

I am a big fan of fellaini and he can play deeper but he is pretty good going forward so could be a waste in the double pivot and is likely not to sit in enough.... Would love to have his size and strength in there though... Could be someone to play alongside mikel in the future, doubt everton would probably sell us arguably thier best player.

I hate the way the whole viewing thing works in England. Because its so lucrative to show PL games Skysports etc has purchased a certain number of games so cannot show every game wheras if i wen't to a foreign country like somewhere in the middle east i could see every game on tv.... Suppose we get the advantage of being able to see the games live more often but still, it does get rather annoying... Horray for Streams..

TBH, i don't think we shoud think of it as 25 points to make up... I look at it as they have two points to make up... Not saying we will win the league, but without Aguero out should make them less of a "cert" in the big games and things we be much closer... New season, new table..

Exactly; shows we shouldn't be judged soley on pre-season... You compare that to the brighton game and we were so much better.

Great start to his chelsea career... It is clear he will be a big asset this season... Great player. Considering some of the transfers of this kind of money... I.e. Caroll, Schevchenko in 06, this is a great signing who should only get better with experience... One game doesn't make him God, but it is a good start to his career for us... My main worry is the amount he gets tackled every game because the defence can't deal with it... Especailly against the like of stoke... Makes me cringe every time he gets tackled...

He was also getting battered by thier centre-backs without much help from the ref otherwise we should have won a few more free kicks and they should have been booked earlier.
