Oh ok. I new one of the rules was a team cannot field a player from the parent club if they are in the same league, but thought they had to have that clause in thier contract if they were in a lower league... So the answer will be, that he won't play. Thanks.
One of the positives of this young team as there are a lot who can make up the team in the coming years, however i was picking 1 player from gk,def, mid,st, and i had to include oscar as i am in the oscar thread lol.
He's coming/ He's not coming He's coming/ He's not coming. If i didn't know any better i might think that the newspapers don't have a clue what they are talking about...
Worry about man u firstly if we beat Boro. Hardly a certainty and secondly if they beat reading. I wouldn't mind a man u chelsea match as it gives us a chance to get one over them even though we won't be winning the league this season.
My point is that he can make an impact without touching the ball. When mata/oscar/hazard/moses get the ball with space in front of them they run into it. Demba ba then runs along the line and moves and trys to run in behind. He was unsuccessful in terms of recieving and latching onto a pass today however when he runs forward he occupys 1 or 2 defenders and drags them out of position providing more space for the man behind and providing him with another option. Compare that with torres on thursday, he would drop deep which would slow down the tempo of our attack and mean that their defenders can keep their shape. It also means that we have no one in the box creating that option. In both examples neither player touches the ball but Ba does a lot more for the team.
whats up with the oscar vs KDB. They are both quality and they both play for us. If we adapted to a 4-3-3 then theres no reason why we cant play both next to each other in a couple of seasons.
I guarentee you that Ba is faster than torres. He wasn't lazy today, he wasn't as effective because of how deep the brentford defence was sitting for the most part. He did create more space for those behind him though through ATTEMPTING those runs, something which torres hasn't done for a long time.
Ba was pretty quiet buthe nmade the runs and created the space and troubled or at least occupied the defenders which helped especially with the Lampard goal for example. After a quiet first half mata Lampard and Oscar were all very good. Oscar is my motm as he was one of the best throughout the game though mata was exceptional as always. And hazard showed his class when he came on. And we were solid defensively. So in the end it was a game we hsoud have won comfortably and we did so in the end. Hopefully we can go beat sparta then beat man city in the big game.
I just don't think we are used to playing with one. In all seriousness he didn't have much to do today and was quite quiet however he put the effort in and made runs... They were ineffective for him but it does still drag out defenders and cause problems and more space for the people in behind.
