I agree, Sturridge still has a role here. And despite his attitude in games sometimes, I still like him. He should have at least a crack at the CF role. But going buy his appearences towards the end of the season RDM dosn't like to play him for some reason.

I don't really rate Lukaku. I blame Chelsea's approach with him though. He is just playing in reserves. We payed 18million for this guy, and havn't even loaned him. And for 18 million I would expect better from a player when he plays (he hasn't looked anything special). It's been the most pointless buy yet, despite 'potential'. I could eat my own words a couple years down the line but whatever.

Hopefully in a team like Chelsea he would shine a bit more. Everytime I see him play he has good and bad spells in matches, a little inconsistant IMO.

The right and left wing has been a problem for a long time. Once we sort that we can look at the Playmaker spot, possibly in winter. Lamps and Mikel can cope till then I hope.

If this deal falls through would they still target a high profile winger or move to look for a creative midfielder

I always liked Moses, not only is he a good footballer but a good sportsman too. We need these kind of guys to bulk up our squad a bit more (Rate him MUCH higher than Kalou and Malouda, who could be leaving). But I would also like to see another high profile RW also.

He looked worried everytime he was on the sidelines. Had no idea how to set up the Chelsea side at the time, all this constant high line bullshit with the likes of Terry and Ivan who are not fast, not willing to to switch out of the 4-3-3 very often and making awful substitutions in most matches. Terrible man management too. The only thing I like about him was bringing in Mata. The bright side for spurs though is that he might learn from his mistakes here and has a squad to manage that is less demanding that chelsea's dressing room.

Could we use a 4-1-2-1-2? ------Torres---Danny/Hulk------ --------------Hazard------------- ---------Mata----Ramires------- ----------Mikel/Lamps----------- ---Cole-----Luiz----Terry----Ivan--- If we get VDW him and cole would provide width. This formation suits technical players as they can dribble/play through players. This gets Mata and Hazard both playing centrally.

Not sure on the 38mill price tag (is this in euros???) but if we had Torres, Hazard, Mata and Hulk up there it would cause alot of headaches for most teams. Give Hulk a little bit of room and he can punish you.

Hey guys supported Chelsea for a long time now. I hang out and read these forums alot but decided to join finnally. It will be good to talk to other chelsea fans as hardly anyone supports Chelsea where I am.
