  1. This would be unforgivably stupid. I cannot believe the Board can be THIS devoid of sense but I've been wrong before...
  2. Completely agree. So much respect for players like that, I feel exactly the same way about Maldini and Totti
  3. Mate the number of times I've said this... don't bother yourself, you'll have to repeat it time and again
  4. Away kit is sexy as hell, hoping that's real. Home kit on the other hand... How can I put this eloquently? If that turns out to be our actual kit, I shall go out into the street and ask the first stranger I see to punch me in the face repeatedly until I lose consciousness and forget that it exists.
  5. Get Jose first and then worry about his assistant
  6. I'm leaning towards yes if only because I think there is a slight myth about "experience is needed etc etc etc". My line of thinking is fairly straightforward - if he's good enough, I don't particularly care if he's 16 or 40. He is a good player in a position where we are weak and understocked. Add this to the fact that teams like Manchester Utd regularly have benches full of players I've never heard of and I think I would have to say give him a chance.
  7. I'm becoming increasingly convinced that this would be a bad move for us. Obviously I will never go so far as to say that I categorically do not want Falcao here as he's undoubtedly a great player, but I think both in terms of finance and football matters that we can do a better job. Lukaku is, for me, ready to come back and start. He would be the 1st or 2nd choice in our squad right now, and he's performed well at West Brom against the same opponents that we play week in week out. There may be a stylistic change moving back to the Bridge as we are sure to be given less space to counter into, but i think he's shown enough ability to adapt, or at least have the chance to. If we are set on purchasing another striker, which incidentally I do agree with, I think it should be a move for quite such a megastar. We have other more pressing needs, and so a capable striker will do well in a stronger and more balanced team.
  8. Still don't see this happening at all. Not confident of a top 4, and beyond that, he may find City or equiv a more enticing project. Tempering expectations...
  9. Or you could interpret it as fans being excited at the prospect of the best manager in the world returning to the club that he made a superpower. That could also work...?
  10. OH MY GOD JOSE COME HOME PLEASE OH PLEASE OH PLEASE
  11. Got to be honest and say I could not care less about the FA Cup replay. Get top 4 and get Benitez out. That's all I want from this season.
  12. The red is a nod to the chelsea pensioners. I'll never have a problem with a little bit of red, just so long as we always stay blue shirts. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chelsea_pensioner
  13. I really hate the 4231 and the obsession that comes with it. Increasingly fed up
  14. This doesn't happen to be something called Raleigh International does it...?
  15. What the fuck has happened to my football club
  16. New pair of Oakley sunglasses. Unnaturally excited...
  17. I applaud your broad sentiment but I still laughed out loud. Violently.
  18. Looks much more 433, Rami is super deep and very narrow so far, looks to me like juan and eden are in a front 3 on the wings
  19. SO MUCH LOVE FOR RUUD GULLIT!!! Roman let's get him on the board m8.
