Hazard can play on the right. I think they will interchange. Even if Hazard is on the left, Vinicius can also play on the right too. It is like saying if Hazard stayed here, CHO would have no future. Isco plays central for Zidane and will not play on the wings. Asensio seems to unfavoured too now. He is however versatile and can play central too. But really and truly, there will be enough playing time for Hazard, Vinicius and other wingers. Rodrygo never seen him play but seems there is a positive hype about him. Like Vinicius, he initially will probably start in the Castilla imo and gradually work his way up like Vinicius did. Vinicius is a huge talent and they already have shown there intention to make him a big part of their plans like we did with CHO.

Not necessarily. https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1137324/Real-Madrid-transfer-news-Eden-Hazard-Chelsea Remember, Vinicius is only 18 and has started a lot of games already. Disagree with that. Especially with the idea Hazard may be deployed on the right. They both can play together and alternate positions. They are also trying to get rid of Bale. Vinicius will be playing a lot of games for Real next season. He will play as much as CHO imo. Real's prob initial starting trio next season will be Vinicius, Benzema and Hazard.

We also got Kovacic on loan. I doubt we would of had him on loan if we did not sell Courtois to them.

I hate these add-on deals. They can take years to even conclude. Just take the fee straight ffs!

Best of Hazard is on at 8pm tonight and 2am tomorrow. Not sure if it will come on again. Has been on several times, however not sure how much people know, Chelsea TV is ceasing its contract from July 1st, so I will be recording this and keeping this forever. Shows his first 50 goals (I think) for Chelsea and it is a joy to watch. From seeing is cheeky penalty style to some absolute beauties, a must watch for anyone with access to Chelsea TV and a must keep. Enjoy! May repeat once or twice before July but no guarantees so if you got sky plus, record and keep!

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/48453444 He has scored so many wonderful goals, that there are goals not included which I would have there. His once against Stoke in 2013, when we thumped them 4-0 at the Britannia was world class. That was his weaker foot and from around 30 yards out. Would arguably have that up there. That Newcastle one was my favourite though, in which he got his hattrick. The second goal to be precise, when he played that one-two with Eto'o is my favourite goal. Will never get bored of watching that.

I think generally, his performance in recent games, proves that fans need to be more patience and stop deciding players are a failure for the club. Such a huge majority of people were slating him and I always insisted that the criticism was exaggerated and slightly unfair. He needed time. Fans did the same with Christensen. Completely turned their back on him and decided he was not good enough. Now those fans are probably changing their minds and thinking they probably were too knee-jerk. Same with Kovacic, there is a good player there but fans lack patience.

Don't forget @xPetrCechx too. He always held onto his name when Cech left for Arsenal
-
Surprised not one person has commented on his thread. He was top quality last night. A huge majority of people were dreading seeing him in the lineup. Wow, he was quality. His dribbling is actually up there with the best in the league. I would say after Hazard and Bernardo Silva, he is arguably the best close ball dribbler in the league. Fantastic!
-
Well that is where we differ. He is limited in terms of not scoring goals or being poor in final third but I like his ability on the ball, he can actually dribble with the ball well and is composed under pressure. I think another season, we will see more improvements. No, I mean for a big team we need players who can control a ball and not crumble under pressure. Bakoyoko was like dancing on ice. Looked lost with the ball and the PL looked way too fast for him. I was actually very excited when he came here as I thought due to his size and him being athletic, he would boss it but he was quite poor. Maybe he would do good again, but don't see him being given than opportunity and I would take Kovacic any day over him.
-
He is much more suited to us than Bakoyoko is. If you actually would rather Bakayoko here than Kovacic then I don't know what to say... And with Real, let's be honest, how many players struggle at Real. Constantly changing managers and players. Not surprised. Real bought him for a reason either way. I hope we take the option up. Especially now with what's happened to RLC.
-
And you don't give the same reasoning to Kovacic?
-
I agree that no.10 is his best position but even at Liverpool he did not play there that much. He either played as a CM in a 4-3-3 or a LW. So for instance if Sarri was to play him, maybe he sees a player who can play in that role and also from the LW role. Offers something that majority of our other players can't do also in terms of scoring from distance what Sarri may also like. I don't think he will end up here anyway, but just saying why I could see how he fits in a 4-3-3 system with Sarri.
-
I think people are forgetting how good he was at Liverpool. He is inconsistent, albeit his last season at Liverpool he was fantastic for majority of season before he left to Barca in Jan and the season before he was excellent too. He is easily worth more than ยฃ50mm in today's market. I don't see how people can say different. That can happen when you go to a team like Barca who already have top players, you can struggle to have the same impact. He can dribble, pass and can score from long distance too. I am not saying he would necessarily suit us but like I was saying, easily worth more than ยฃ50m in today's market. Only 27 too.

Klopp said this actually before our meeting at Anfield: "Maurizio is someone of whom I am a huge admirer. โThe job he did at Napoli was simply outstanding and it is obvious to most observers he is already imposing his ideas on his new side. "The Premier League is unforgiving and relentless, so it is understandable there has been some transition for him and them. "I watched their game last Monday against West Ham and what is clear is that this is one of Europe's elite club sides, let alone just in England."
-
Prob because of the Europe factor and fact we have not been good away from home in 2019 and they expected us to rest players. They done the same odds when Arsenal went to Leicester and we know how the score ended up...
-
Well he certainly made up for that after. Like I say, after that moment, he lead by example.
-
Funny you say this. When I heard he won goal of the season, I assumed it was the West Ham one Just shows how good of a player he is. He has had a few goals this season which were contenders. Liverpool, West Ham, Cardiff...

Go back and read the nature of your post and look how pathetic you sound. It is embarrassing. Minus the football comments, the rest of the post is out of order and OTT. Then you might see why I said you need growing up.
-
WOW. Grow the fuck up. We are through to the final ffs. You would think we lost the game judging by your reaction. He was at fault for the goal, but what shows a mental strength of a player is the way they recover. He was top notch after that. He won so many aerial challenges, especially there long set pieces they kept launching into the box and also made that pivotal clearance at the end. The BT Sport pundits also recognized he was at fault for the goal but lead by example after that. I am not denying he is error prone but imo he has been key to our play this season. We have kept 15 clean sheets in the league. The third most in the league and that is quite impressive, considering some of those clean sheets were against big teams too. And yes, I think a lot of the clean sheets was pivotally because of Luiz. He had MOTM performances in many of them.

Patience... finally looks like it is paying off. Fans are starting to see his qualities. Was brilliant tonight. Just annoys me how little patience fans have on here. Suddenly you will get several who will be saying Jorginho is a must in the team, etc and giving him praise. Wish people would think before they slate players. New settings, different team, all these things can take a while for a player to adjust but some people won't accept that. The same way people are praising RLC now, few months ago were ones who probably were saying he is not good enough to play here. Anyway that being said, glad Jorginho is starting to get plaudits from Chelsea fans in recent matches and hopefully the form continues.
-
Luiz switched off for the goal but tbh apart from that he was very good. Even the pundits recognized that as well. Jorginho was brilliant though. RLC was good too before he came off.
-
Can someone remind Sarri that you can swap CF in Europe. Higuain needs to come on for Giroud.
-
Mellis is now at Mansfield in League 2 and Billy Clifford is playing non-league football at Slough Town. Crazy.
