Something we have learned from.

You are chatting a lot of shit. Chamberlain scores 1 goal and you are catching a boner over it. Big deal. You do realise Sterling is being rested for this game anyway because he has played a lot of football? You are just sounding like a complete fool. Why are you telling the whole world that he is great because he has scored. Relax ffs. I am not downplaying his talents but you are trying to prove he is better than Sterling and that he is great etc because of one game. Chill!
-
He scored 1 goal. WOOOOOOW! Relax. Listen I get he is a talent like most people think. What is your point?
-
Why does it bother you? FYI I never labelled him the best youngster. He is up there. I would say he is the best teenager in Europe though based on what I have seen. If you are talking youngster then I don't know what age you close the gap. But let's get one thing straight Liverpool are currently 11th. The season has got a long, long way to go. For what you know they may just end up in the top 3. Shaw is a top talent and so is Lukaku. I don't understand you.
-
You make a good point. However I don't think that is an excuse for the others mentioned. Ozil played out wide for Germany and although I don't think think he was that good, they still won the WC. Even at Real days he never actually stayed in the centre. He drifted all over the pitch. Yes he does not play as an out and out no.10 for Arsenal but do I think his performances can improve? Yes. Look at Silva. He starts out wide a lot but his intelligence is up there with the best so he is able to be given a free role and o whatever. Even with Hazard, just because the team was not built around him he has the pace, technique and most things you want from a player. I was quite disappointed with Hazard considering what he is capable of. I agree with Silva being the best no.10. Not Ozil. Ozil is far too fragile. La Liga was fine for him. If he bulks up I reckon we may see more of him because age is on his side. But a good player should be able to play out wide if instructed to. Like Silva etc.
-
You are ignoring my question? Please give a logical response on whose place he would have taken last season and give a reasoned argument than simply; "he would start over Sterling and Sturridge". If you are not going to do that just don't bother. I told you why I don't think he would have got into that team because SSS were certain starters then I told you why the ones behind them three would likely keep their spot as well. LOL, I support Liverpool then. If that makes you happy Nike
-
No he would not. Well I still reckon BR will try out Balo and Sturridge. If that does not work, Balo will be dropped for a while. So because I see you post what I consider rubbish about Sterling in previous threads and I back him up because of the crap I have seen posted that somehow makes me a Liverpool fan? LOL. I like Sterling, Sturridge and a hell of a lot of other players on rival teams. Does that mean I support them? Use your head. Stop acting like a kid then.
-
We were a shit team that won the CL though.....Sterling is 19 anyway so to expect him to get that amount is a bit stretching it? However getting the goals he did last season considering the space of time is exceptional. In a few years Sterling will be a more prominent scorer. He even said that is his aim. Well in the league he scored less. One I think. However Oscar played more games and Sterling one started getting into Liverpool's 11, late December while Oscar played in Europe etc and I have no doubt that if Liverpool had better players in the team right now and Sturridge was fit Sterling would have scored more. His best performances this season came when playing with Sturridge. He gets injured and the rest are just poor. Once Sturridge is fit there top 4 chances increase but think they may miss out. However, yes. Oscar is asked to do more defensively at us but do I think he has limits offensively? I do.
-
Be quiet. You are chatting rubbish. Of all people you made that comment to me rigt? BS You seem to really be angered by that? It is not going to change anything you know. So why do you keep referring to it? ... Leave it. Who would Oscar have start over last season? -Gerrard? No. -Henderson? No because of his role in that team. -Coutinho? Maybe but rotation and the position is different from Oscar's so that is a doubt. Sterling? No. Sturridge? No. Suarez? No. You are not even a Chelsea fan. You always refer to Chelsea as a neutral. I have never seen you say 'we'. Not that it is a requirement but you know. We have the playmaker we have been craving for yet you love to slate him and refer to him as completely inferior to the second coming of Christ, Thiago Maybe you don't have a team. No doubt you have many posters of Thiago on your wall. You perhaps have some naked of him so that there is something you can keep licking all day. His ass
-
Come on? Compare our team's with Liverpool? We have Matic, Fabregas, Hazard... they have who? A declining Gerrard and just a much inferior team. Not that difficult to work out. If Sterling is in our team he obviously will have scored more goals for us than he has done there. Oscar has done exceptionally well recently but even him in the current Liverpool team would perhaps struggle to score goals. Espeically when their best striker has been injured for most of the season. I agree with the bolded statement but my point is even if Oscar came to Liverpool, Sterling would be a starter unless his performances dramatically changed. That is why I said Sterling would start with or over Oscar in a BR team because he has the pace, dribbling ability and creates chances/ free kicks/ penalties. Basically BR most reliable player. Mourinho on the other hand does not need that while he has Hazard.
-
You funny individual. Like you made that comment because Sterling plays for England. Don't play stupid. That is the last I am referring back to that topic. If you do I am just going to ignore because you, me and most people know exactly what you are doing. Hindsight is a funny thing. When Liverpool bought Balotelli he was a guaranteed starter with Sturridge. He had/has his problems but you thought that if they strike an understanding that the partnership would work. When Liverpool bought Balo, you think Sterling behind Sturridge and Balo right?..... So whose place would Oscar have taken as unless BR trained him in the CM department it is unlikely we would see him there. Well after all he managed it with Coutinho albeit he is very inconsistent. But like I was saying, Oscar would of been a rotational player in Liverpool's team last season. Sterling, Sturridge and Suarez were the more certain guarantees. Going into this season it was the same with Balotelli, Sturridge and Sterling. Now with Balotelli's performances would Oscar start? Definitely. Ahead of Sterling? No.
-
Disagree completely. If Schurrle went to Liverpool Coutinho would continue to be even more of a rotational player than he already is. And BR and Mourinho are different managers. Sterling would not lose his place to Oscar. Sterling provides more of an attacking threat as he scores more, creates more goals and his constant dribbling ability draws more free kicks and penalties. In Mourinho's team now would Oscar start over Sterling? Most certainly. He does all the hard work consistenly. Sterling is a hard working player but obviously like Hazard wants to be the focal point attacking.

Nemanja Matic thread page 56 you said: "Its obvious. You like Sterling because you share nationalities. Its ok, its rational and reasonable." Some how you knew I was Jamaican then huh? You knew for a fact I was Jamaican so stop playing stupid and going back. Why you keep bringing that up I don't know why. You were in the wrong. Let's not derail the topic again with that, please. LIke you would tell a non-Jamaican to smoke some ganja ... stop it. Please don't go back to that because it is no point. The judge ruled you were guilty and you were suspended. Not just for that but an accumulation of things. End of topic on that one. But like others were saying if Pogba were to join I would imagine seeing Cesc pushed higher and we would see less weaknesses from him and more offensively from him. Especially in terms of goals. Koke maybe too but it is very possible that Koke would play out wide a lot as well but we have Ramires. Anyway both transfers are realistically not going to happen for a while if ever. Pogba would be the perfect replacement for Yaya Toure though.
-
You said Schurrle would be an upgrade on Sterling? How is that so? Tell me please because if Schurrle came to Liverpool it would be to start with Sterling. Not replace him. I said Oscar would not have got into Liverpool's team last season and I stand by that. Sterling was not getting dropped. Neither was Sturridge or Sterling. Where would Oscar have fit. CM? He does the running but does he have the positional sense to play there? I am not sure and that is why we rarely see him in that position for us.
-
LOL. Because I am a fan of Sterling and appreciate his talents that makes me a fan of them? OK..... You lick Thiago's ass like there is no tomorrow, I need say no more. In your opinion Cesc is a weak link on this team and even though he has consistently produced for every team he has been at you still consider him to be inferior to an injured 3/4 a time Thiago. Whatever. Oh to the getting banned comment. Wasn't it you pestering SpecialJuan every second to get me warning points? Even he had to put you in your place and tell you wind your neck in because you sound like a immature kid complaining because he never got his little sweets. Also don't make a racist jibe in future and pretend you did not know I was Jamaican maybe? Really clever.....
-
No. He would not be an upgrade from Sterling. He would be an upgrade on the rest of the mediocre players on their team. What is wrong with you in your criticism of Sterling? Do you really think if Schurrle went to Liverpool that Sterling would be dropped? You are having a laugh seriously. I am a fan of Schurrle but he is very inconsistent. I hope and don't think he would join Liverpool anyway.
-
He is not a Chelsea fan. More like a Barca fan or Thiago Alcantara obsessed fan. But no, he is not a Chelsea fan.
-
2 goals for England U19 against Italy U19 so far. On a hattrick. Live on BT Sport. Top talent. We might not have that much English players in the first team right now but boy the potential of some of the English talent in our youth teams are very exciting. Ola Aina and RLC also playing. Colkett and Kiwomya subs.
-
That wouldn't happen as Mourinho wants to probably get the maximum points as possible which means playing strong players. Even if we win the league Bayern style, Musonda will not feature for the first team this season. FWIW we may go unbeaten and right now we don't look like losing. In that scenario it would be highly unlikely we would see our youth players.
-
Bertrand's best qualities are his attacking runs. He is quite good defensively but his strengths are definitely in attack. That is why I feel he is excelling at Southampton. Aston Villa play a really boring style and Lambert does not set out his teams to attack and they struggle to score goals. Southampton are set up to play attractive football which involves their full backs almost playing as wing backs. It is why Luke Shaw got so much praise last season because people saw how excellent he was with his attacking runs. Bertrand is doing the exact same thing now and that is why we are seeing the best of him. Displaying his best qualites and doing an excellent job in defence as well.
-
Such an idiot. Seriously. Once again when I am trying to give you serious advice you just write rubbish. Yeah I support a mid-table team.... keep saying that to yourself. Flipping clown I don't care how this post is interpreted by the mods. I advice this fool to just move on and stop getting on people's nerves and stop playing the fool when he clearly knows why he made the 'ganja' comment. OK... so you made then ganja comment to me of all people?... whatever. Then he goes off topic about how I support a mid-table team. Can't take you seriously if you can't have a reasoned talk. Everyone on here knows I am a Chelsea fan. Don't need to prove anything to fools like you who claim I support a mid-table team. How old are you? Like 13?
-
Get your facts straight. I am not a kid. I am 21. When you said the 'ganja' comment you know very well that I had the Jamaican flag up. For some odd reason I just rotate my display flag between Jamaica and England. At the time it was the Jamaican flag. You would not have made that comment if you did not see the Jamaican flag. Stop playing stupid. While we have several disagreements and so on we also have reasonable football arguments even though you are so one-sided but please you have been warned already. No need to keep whining like a little baby. Just move on Nike.
-
No. A lot of people, well me anyway know how good Chamberlain is and his potential but we are just stating that right now you cannot say hands on that he is better than Sterling because he has had far more injuries. For instance you reckon Thiago is better and accomplished more than Fabregas. I dispute this because he is injured 3/4 of the season so he has not proved himself over the season like Fabregas has. That is my point about Chamberlain. An excellent young talent but he has not had a season like Sterling yet and because of the injuries he is going to have to work harder to get in the team especially with the likes of Walcott coming back.
-
Sterling is being made the key man for England. Hodgson knows that and that is why most people state Rooney should be dropped because Sterling has to be starting in that no.10 role. Maybe Chamberlain would start here over Sterling. He might not but you said Sterling was playing the more integral role compared to Chamberlain because of inferior players yet at the same time Sterling is now the no.10 for England as well and I assume that will carry on unless his form dramatically drops which I doubt. Even this season, Sterling is the only one you can give credit in such a mediocre team. When Sturridge comes back he will improve more but you cannot deny that he was fantastic last season. I reckon many top class players would struggle in the current Liverpool team now. As to the bolded part. LOL. Maybe in the next decade then
-
Well academically wise, Chamberlain is 2 years older. Depends on the way you look at it. Sterling will be 20 next month while Chamberlain will be 22 in August but in school/college whatever you want to call it, Sterling would be considered a couple years younger. LOL.... did you just say at Southampton? He played for Southampton when they were in L1. Hardly a basis for comparison. Wait a minute. Sterling is not better than him at anything? One could argue the other way round. Their abilities are quite similar. Sterling is a bit faster imo. What you saw today when Chamberlain burst past 2 Swansea players which eventually led to the goal, Sterling has done that several times as well. Recent QPR victory comes to mind. Passing is a difficult one as well. None of them are exceptional at it but both have an eye for a pass. They are both versatile. Like I was saying there is no clear winner to say who is better. The only way I would say you can base it on is that Sterling has done exceptionally well for club for quite a period while Chamberlain has not been able to do the same because of injuries but no doubts he is an excellent talent. Even for England, Sterling will continue to be the main man regardless of whether Chamberlain is fit. I don't know what your vendetta against Sterling is. I rate Chamberlain very highly but he has been injured far too often and Sterling has accomplished more than him so how can you say hands on that Chamberlain is better? That is your opinion. Stop trying to enforce your opinions as a fact. So yes, Arsenal has better attackers than Liverpool but do you really think Chamberlain would have dislodged Sterling out of that team last season? No chance. He probably would have to settle rotating with Coutinho or Henderson because Sterling, Suarez and Sturridge was their star players. Chamberlain would not get ahead of Sterling in that team. Fact. Sterling is better and more consistent than Coutinho. That is why he is given the green light. Coutinho is like Jekyll and Hyde. Can look great one game then completely disappear the next game. I can guarantee you that in future England teams if both are fit Sterling will be a starter. In England's attack the only guaranteed starters are Sterling and Sturridge imo when fit. Rooney probably because of him being captain but even many England fans and pundits rely and regard Sterling as the best and most important player on the team.
