But being German and playing for Bayern is a huge honour. Lew had so many options but insisted on joining Bayern and even though he is not German, he played in Germany long enough to know how big of a honour it is to play for them. Rather than go for a new challenge abroad he joined his closest rivals. Reus will have plenty of options but at Bayern he probably will aready feel at home and have chemistry with the rest of the team. I really think it is inevitable he goes Bayern.

Which Players Do You Regret Chelsea Selling?
Stats replied to the wes's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Has to be Daniel Sturridge. Was a favourite of mine at the club whilst he was here. Was rarely played in his favoured position but he still scored goals for us and is one of the best English talents about. Then when we sold him it just brought on so many striker issues. The main one being Torres. You just have to wonder what if... think he would have been a big success here. Happy we have Diego Costa but it is never pleasing to see big English talents like Sturridge leave the club, especially considering who kept him out of the team. -
Ronaldo is 30 in February. Even if he does stay at Real for the rest of his career he will be getting older and eventually declining and Hazard imo could be the finished article. I would not be surprised to see Real make a major offer for him but I ma confident we have got Hazard at the Bridge for the next few years.

On a Bayern perspective I can understand it. They want the best German talent available and why would they want to see him go to another club? But yeah if Reus does end up there which I think he will do the league is just totally one-sided. Well it is already but that bridges the gap even more. That being said I can like I was saying, understand why Bayern want Reus.

Isco is an AM though. Jese is an outstanding talent but not as good as Hazard and I still think he will be used as a rotation player for next few years. Same with Isco. If Ronaldo was to leave it is possible they could have Hazard, James and Bale in one team. That would be devastating but hopefully Hazard is here for the next few years.

His head is so up Thiago's arse that he cannot see that Barca tried to get Fabregas for 2-3 seasons running. Fabregas committed himself to Arsenal for at least another season and it was inevitabe that he would end up at Barca. Barcelona made so much effort to get back Fabregas. Sometimes Nike just comes out with pure rubbish.
-
Fair enough but do you reckon if us and Arsenal both offered Reus contract that he would choose Arsenal? I am not sure. We obviously can outsmucle them financially plus have a better team and he probably feels he would get more trophies here. He could easily do the same as Hazard.

I said you have tinted eyes because you could not see that Sterling is actually very strong despite his physical appearance. You then made the 'racist' comment and said "he is calling me Chinese now". How can you make a reference to racism when you have just mentioned Chinese with reference to the tinted eyes. You mentioned China not me. That can be considered racism. You are not really smart are you?
-
Grow up..... You just realised you made a racist comment saying that right? Pathetic.
-
You have tinted eyes. Sterling is not frail. He has amazing strength and balance for a player his size. Clueless.

Dzeko? While he is not as good as Aguero, if he is injured Dzeko is more than capable of scoring goals. They can play 4-4-2 or 4-2-3-1 so if Aguero is injured they would line up in a 4-2-3-1. His stats prove that he is a goalscorer. Dzeko is better than Remy and Drogba right now. Remy is a very good striker but not as good as Dzeko.

Against City when Liverpool won 3-2 he was the MOTM and was a constant threat to their team for the whole game and opened the scoring with a very well taken goal. When Liverpool beat Arsenal 5-1 wasn't he awarded the MOTM as well? Either way he terrorised their defence for the whole game and scored 2 goals. So in reality he has performed in some big games already.
-
They won the game in the end of the day. Naivety was probably an issue as well thinking the game was handed to them once Aguero scored. When Silva is fit and they have their act together they are truly our no.1 title contenders. No doubt about that.
-
You can say the same for when we played City. They had 10 men and were playing better than us. Same scenario albeit we dropped points.
-
Mata is definitely a set peice expert. Puts the right weight, spin and pace on the ball.
-
His has been mixed tbh. Some open play and set peices. -Assist for Matic against Sporting Lison from free-kick. -Assist for Diego Costa against Swansea for the header. -Assist for Ivanovic against Burnley from corner. -Assist for Drogba against United from corner. So tbh his general delivery so far this season has been quite good if you consider the returns. He has managed a few assists through open play and assists.
-
Also most of Gerrard's assists were mainly all from set peices if not all of them.
-
Brown is different tbh. He is only 17 and you can't realistically expect him to play in our first team for now. Brown is a top talent but he is not any where near ready for our first team yet and unlike Baker, this is is a totally different issue tbh. Baker is a couple years older and has been playing U21/reserve level for around 3 seasons now. Brown on the other hand has only been playing with our U18 team but this season is a full member of the U21. It will be a while till we see him play for the first team in a competitive fixture I assume unless there is an injury crisis.

We can't have that sort of naivety. Fabregas is a smart man. He will know the implications of getting a yellow card so I am sure he will be extra cautious. Yes, it is a game where we should win but we can't just turn up thinking a win is guaranteed. They are likely to try and contain us and without Fabregas, creating holes through their team will prove a little difficult if he is not playing. This game is our first priority. Go 8 points ahead and hope United get a point/win against City. We will be dominating possession anyway so I am hopeful Fabregas won't do anything silly to get himself booked.

Scored to put his team 1-0 up against Frankfurt in their cup match. Boy has been given a start and he has taken it. Way to go.
-
He would have been a sub anyway. Last 2 games he has been dropped as he has been god damn awful this season. QPR also kept a clean sheet last game against Villa so he would have been warming the bench anyway.
-
Posted that in one football forum. Can't remember the exact place but I copied and pasted that and he is one of the most reliable youth sources for us.
-
The thing is with Baker is he has been excelling in our youth teams for a while now. Was named our young player of the year last season and was simply fantastic, recording around 18 goals. Early next year he will be 20 with probably only one appearance for the first team. Baker has done tremendously well and deserves a chance more than most imo. When will he be trusted to play? At the age of 23+? I was just reading the chelsea youth twitter page and the writer seems to definitely be annoyed about the situation. Baker has met every objective asked of him but for him to hardly have a look in disappointing. Have a look at the comments. Not just you but members in general. This is what he also said in another forum. Same write of chelsea youth: "I know it was pre-season and therefore much harder to read into these things but this squad beat Wycombe 5-0; Wycombe were much closer in their preparations to their start of season readiness and have since looked like promotion contenders of a similar standard to Shrewsbury. Schwarzer (Beeney), Kane (Zouma), Ake (Ivanovic), Chalobah (Terry), Christensen (Dasilva), Romeu (Houghton), Swift (Matic), Baker (Boga), Van Ginkel (Salah), Bamford (Brown), Piazon (Solanke) Nobody's expecting a complete U21 team but if Baker can't get a look after passing every test asked of him to date, when can he? Boga was told an hour before the first team left that he wouldn't be travelling as initially planned, that sort of **** sucks the life out of a player. Chalobah's another who's completely fed up with the way things have gone, don't be surprised if he pushes for a permanent departure next summer."
