Chelsea always struggles after International Breaks. I hope our players are not tired when they get back. Just for that reason I will take tight 1-0 against a very good Swansea side who have played good football. I also get this feeling that Gary Monk is going to be a great manager.

Absolutely pathetic performance. Our Problems: 1) Ivanovich is a mediocre full back, and totally useless going forward. We seem to be very vulnerable from that side. I think we should start using Azpi as Right Full Back, and Cole or Bertrand on the left. He is still good squad player. 2) Sadly Essien has passed his best and can only be utilized as sub or emergency cover. I would love to see Ramirez and Oscar play holding midfield positions. 3) Set Pieces, Hopefully after our recent horror performances defensively we can fix the set piece problem in training. 4) Torres, Ba and Eto need to go this summer. All three are misfiring and enough is enough. Lukaku in for next season. Having said that we seem to play better when we play good teams and I have this feeling we will beat arsenal, incidentally I am going to watch that game, which will be my first Live Chelsea game ever. Really looking forward to that. I also feel that we will get better and better during the season.

Does anyone have statistics on percentage of passes that Mikel makes are either sideways or backwards. I would guess it would be more than 95%. He slows the game, kills creativity and brings absolutely nothing to the team. Why has he survived this long at chelsea is a mystery. In my opinion we should start a game with Ramirez and Oscar as holding midfielders.

I think at Sunderland we should start with 4-4-2 Cech Azpi Cahill Luiz Cole Ramirez Willian Mata Hazard Ba Torres It seems like 4-2-3-1 our creative midfielders are not able to create chances. I have seen it too often this year that Hazard does not have options to pass. granted our defence will be more vulnerable but we have to take the chances and score early.
