I’d accept Big Rom in a heartbeat, even over Haaland. Was stupid decision to sell him but even more stupid not buying him but Morata in 2017.. Improved a lot, doing great at Inter and I think he’d be a fit in this team.

Never played for top team nor scored goal in top3 league, his record is not very outstanding in Portugal or Greece either. Mentioning critical strikers in top football I rather associate to Lewa, Agüero, Kane, Benzema, Ibrahimovic.. Probably could list up a hundred name before Mitroglou.

We are nearing the end of the season, wondering who can be the player of the year? This season - just like last year when Kova won - it’s quite hard to highlight one player, like when Hazard or Mata had outstanding seasons. Whom I can think of: Mendy - many records, clean sheets, big inpact even though small money signing and not well known player internationally Azpilicueta - regular and good performer against Lampard, then under new manager - as each time in the last 9 years - first name in the lineup in different position again, gotta love him. Mount - had good introduce season but this year he clearly stepped up, becoming a leader.

I’d go with Ziyech-Havertz-Pulisic. I expect Real defend strictly, we’ll not have many space to run, so maybe Playing both Werner and Pulisic whose most attractive feature is speed might be a waste. Ziyech’s vision might be matchwinner.

Yeah, luckily we have Werner/Havertz/Pulisic who are merciless finishers who converts every chance into goal.

Looks like Tuchel’s Chelsea is very effective against big teams/big games but we are i trouble against small sides who are OK with draw. Expect Palace game last week, I’ve hardly ever seen us pushing/pressing a weaker team to the wall.

Looks like most people are against of this super league but I’m curious about it.. As everything, football also needs new formats sometimes. I don’t believe current Champions League is the perfect format which we should stick to forever. Of course, this super league might not be working, but why not try? CL is getting kinda boring. Hundreds of teams in Europe’s leagues can qualify, 32 teams can make it to the group stages but still pretty much the same teams make it to final 16/8 every year, why not try to skip the “playing against eastern European teams” part? I know it’s important and delightfup for some people, Hungarian side Ferencvaros made it to group stage this season which I loved but they never had a chance for a second, for Barcelona and Juventus it was a waste of time to play against them. Maybe it’d be better to see top players against top players every week instead of watching top teams destroying Krasnodar/Crneva Zvezda/Young Boys with their B-sides.

West Ham doing good this year but situation is in our hands, if we cannot top them then we shouldn’t be in CL.

Actually, it’s predicted that due to Covid and most clubs tough financial situation this summer there will be much more swap deals than usual.

This tie against Real will be so much fun!! Kroos-Modric-Casemiro vs. Kova-Kanté-Jorgi, should be interesting. Also there will be big duels on the wings.. I expect few goals(1-3 on the two games) and tense games, Tuchel and Zidane will bring up all their tricks. Can’t wait!
