Ridiculous.. Wasn't even a rough game.
-
Guess no new manager bounce with Maresca..
-
There is no reason why Sancho would start Today over Madueke or Neto who have been around and in game. It would be also horribly people-management. Him, Enzo and KDH are out, but we still have Caicedo, Veiga, Casadei and Chukwuemeka around. We are loaded I think.
-
Where is Enzo and Dewsbury-Hall? Not like I miss either of them too much, but I recall Maresca only mentioned Lavia, Gusto and RJ as absentees.
-
Well, he should perform then. It’s not like he ripped Servette apart.
-
I don't see it mentioned in other thread, he signed new contract until 2033. Well done and well deserved. I am happy with how he has been doing and improving. He is 23, his qualities are good, if he can be more prolific he can be a great striker.

James, Lavia and Gusto unavailable due to injury, Marseca confirmed. Watching the injury record of RJ, Gusto and Cucurella, I woldn't be so sure there's no way back to Chilwell to the team.. It's only September and they've been in and out, but more like out.

Exactly the same things have been said about Solanke when he was at Chelsea and Liverpool. He ultimately exploded last season, Spurs have now taken the risk, but it's still unsure wheter he can maintain that level or back to mediocrity. Difference between top players and Championship-level players is very small actually. There are hundreds or greatly talented players with insane potential around, but ability of making quick and good decisions and putting up with stress at the highest level makes the difference, as well as showing flexibility and responding positively to change(new coach, new system etc.) Mudryk clearly is talented and quick AF but it is also clear he is lacking confidence very much and seems unable to adapt, evolve. Just look at Madueke, they arrived at the same time, he hardly got any chances at the beginning, but one can see he believes in himself and always trying to impress, even it means he seems selfish and wasteful at times. He improved a lot and he definetly improved his position in the squad in the last 18 months, while Mudry going deeper and deeper. Noni always asking for the ball and looking to score goals, Mudryk is hiding behind defenders not to receive the ball and making safe passes not to embarrass himself. This behaviour on the pitch is not taking him anywhere. Imo, Mudryk definetly needs a loan to a team where he can be the star player, run the show and enjoy himself, things which he clearly doesn't at Chelsea. I have doubts wheter he is capable to turn things around at this point. I want to say I am cheering for him, but for me he is not a likeable charachter at all.

Ended up 5, ouch...

Estevao debuted for Brazil NT in a qualifier against Ecuador, him and Paez were both subbed in, shared some time on the pitch.
-
Worst patch? Excuse me? One CL, one FA-cup and one EL title in two seasons he finished with us. He may not be a very important and outstanding player looking back at his whole carreer, but for ~1.5 years he played at his absolute best for us, way better than he ever played for Valencia before or United after. We had him in his prime and we found a system which he enjoyed very much alongside Oscar and Hazard.

Was quite obvious after reading the name Genesis 😄 By the way, what could make you name your kid Genesis? Great memories with the old Sega console, or being a fan of Phil Collins’ former band?
-
He is very talented and capable of doing good things even at the highest level, he showed it at Dortmund. Definetly expect more from him then Mudryk at this point.
-
39 games 2 goals in League One so far.. Maybe this is his chance of a lifetime. There has been many academy players who seemed to be great talents but ended up as average 3th-4th tier players.. Must be a hard decision, he should feel if there's more in him.
-
Ofc they are. They have the same manager for 7 years(and not even a crap one) who build the whole squad himself. Almost all of his key players have been there for 4+ years, they are a TEAM. We are a large group of players, selected by several different coaches with several different styles, our longest serving players(who are in the rotation) have been here for like 1.5 seasons.. Why wouldn’t City be miles ahead us? Hard work and continuity pays off, it would be a miracle if the mess we have been doing recent years would lead into a top team instantly.
-
I think so. Reliable sources such as BBC claim since last night everything is 100% signed and done, they don’t mention what’s the reason of delayed announcement.
-
So, why Sancho is not announced yet? It’s been 12 hours since window closed.
-
"Loan with obligation to buy guaranteed, formally if #CFC will finish among first 14 position in PL table." Maresca: "Hold my Limoncello" So, looks like one more winger in the basket but no striker has been signed - if we didn't magically and secretly agreed with Osimhen. Will be interesting how EM can balance this, I hope Mudryk we still offload somwhere.
-
I don't understand.. Matos played first team football last year but it was obvious from first minute he will not be part of first team(so not like Chukwuemeka how didn't make final cut), didn't even travel to USA. Why each sides waited until having to race the clock? Washington same.. Been quiet on him all summer and last few hours like 3 different teams were interested but nothing happened apparently.
-
This map is pointing to middle of Kazakhstan. We will play in Almaty City, which is like 250 km from China border 😄 hello Europe nights.
-
?? How can Sancho and Osimhen deal be anything then separated?
-
So he had "abdominal problems" on the 6th of February which doesn't caused him to miss any single game? Why is it there then? Also "muscle fatigue" for 5 days in August in offseason.. If we cut out these bullshit ones and the non reoccuring injuries such as Covid or cheekbone/head/shoulder then it's not a horrible record tbh.

Imagine having to loan your once 80 million player to Bournemouth.

After ~4 months - when we tradhed WHU 5-0 - I had once again a truly fun and entertaining afternoon with my team. After a long week of work and issues, it was a perfect 2 hours to spend in front of TV. Hope you guys and supporters all around the world felt similar, this is what it is for, isn’t it?

Such big names and amounts of money but not a single one worked out properly. Pulisic maybe, but still was available all the time and we lost lots of money with him. Rest all busted hard.
