Interested in Muddy by any chance?

Wesley Fofana - feels like new signing every summer since 2022.
-
I haven't seen too much from him, but in Strasbourg his role reminded me on what Cancelo did for City in his prime 1-2 seasons: carry the ball from box to box, often coming to middle of the pitch and creating chances. In such system, definetly can work, but requires suitable CM and CB around. Not sure how Maresca's system will be, but Angelo is very gifted, I wouldn't be surprised if we found a way to utilize him.

He played a very interesting RWB/B2B hybrid role in Strasbourg. I understand it's not so fancy on transfermarkt stats but he is indeed a massive talent.
-
Indeed. But the biggest insult regarding Duran in the last two pages were "noname".
-
What's the point of this tread then? After confirming a signing, can discuss in players topic. It's ok to discuss possibility of signing players, even if they are not even rumoured or news turn out to be false.
-
I have only seen Duran a couple of times, seems talented. 8 goals in ~1100 minutes are not bad either for a 20 years old. But.. AV signed him for 15 million last year and he was substitute for Watkins. How did we end up offering 40-50 million for him? How his value got three times as much?
-
He is going to the Euros due to Frenkie De Jong's injury. Boy has a lot going on recent few months.
-
Caughtoffside and Fabrizio Romano collaboration.. 🤯 Let's see a video of Kaveh Solhekol drinking ayahuasca tea and talking about his transfer speculations. Geez, I would be hammered if we ended up with Disasi, Adarabioyo, Badiashile and Fofana 😄 Make that ECL exciting.

https://www.chelseafc.com/en/news/article/tosin-adarabioyo-to-join-Chelsea Finally, a smart CB-signing. Has been great for Fulham in the past two seasons, developed at City, perfect age. Worst case scenario a good squad player, but at 26 he can also take a step forward and do a Cahill 🙂 Welcome, welcome
-
This guy is amazing.. Made a name for himself playing well in Austria at a young age, but he has performed several horror shows for Leipzig and Bayern, not reliable at all. And somehow still made it to Deschamps' squad. Hope we miss out on him, stick with Adarabioyo.
-
Feel like very random few names from almost 20 years of time.. But generally it's not surprising, big clubs do not really want their top form and age stars go, so they often making bidding wars for the next big things, who often happen to play for "feeder clubs" such as Benfica. More importantly, Willian was signed from Anzhi Makhachkala!
-
They are also up for Barkley. That will be another challange for my mental health, seeing Barks in the Champions League while we play in Uzbekhistan on Thursday night,
-
But Real still winning somehow, would be typical.
-
But that's the point.. Cucu and Chilwell would be also easy to sell if we want to raise funds. However it's intresting you announce it like it was an objective fact, not a speculation.
-
If we want to sign striker from Leipzig, we should go for Openda. I feel he is much more complex player and higher ceiling.
-
I don't know, I have felt for years that GK is the last thing we should worry about, profiles and passing abilities don't count as much as it is discussed.. Real Madrid won the league and reached CL-final with their 3rd choice, Liverpool and Manchester City are not worse teams at all with their noname goallies. I firmly believe that we would have been still 6th if we had Oblak or Ederson or whoever.. There are like 50 goallies around who can do the job, we can just go with Petrovic, Sanchez or Kepa. They are not outstanding but not bad either. CB will be needed either way.
-
If he could play his football with Dewsbery-Hall, Patson Daka and Jannick Vestergaard then he should sort it out with the 40-50 players available in the first team, loan army and development squads. I feel it is a fair expectation from the new manager not wanting to make lots of changes in the squad, recent 1-1.5 years we completely changed the entire group. Get him the players needed? We pretty much have players with any possible profile.. Especially winger, midfielder or left back. I will lose my shit if we have to buy Ndidi because none of our midfielders "fit his football".
-
Yes please! He is very solid CB, developed by Man City, his best years can still be ahead. Worst case scenario a decent squad player, but can even be much more.
-
If Frank is appointed, should we expect him wanting to bring some of his faves to our club? I have seen some shit in the past 20 years but not sure if I’m ready for a title fight lead by Wissa and Mbuemo.
-
First we should find out who will be our manager, don't we? Chillwell, Cucurella and Maatsen are very different type of left backs, and we can make income on the other two too. Also, if Kompany joins Bayern - where Fonzie is likely to leave - it can be obvious choice aswell.
-
I’m not all in for De Zerbi but looking at trophies from past is very narrow way to look at things. He is relatively young coach and haven’t had oppurtunity to win trophies yet. And it’s not all that matters. Gasperino has just won his first throphy, still everyone is aware(hopefully) how great job he’s been doing. Or how about Bielsa? He won the Champo and some shit in Argentina 30 years ago, still everyone claims he is a great football mind. If we do trophy count, then obviously Mourinho is the right choice. (who won CL with Porto exactly 20 years ago Today)

Like.. Hungary You guys are discussing potential withdrawal from financial point of view only. But what about sport diplomacy? I believe it is a strong interest of UEFA to have as big names in EL and especially ECL as possible. Withdrawing would be a punch on their face, very bad press for the competition. I am sure there is/will be some kind of pressure on the club not to stay out.
-
Took a look what kind of teams payed visit in the ECL qualifications stage last year, some of my favourites: FC Balkani, Zalgiris, TNS, Astana, Yerevan, Birkirkara, Santa Coloma, FC Europa, just to mention the finest.. Gonna be interesting, let's try to get the best of it.

Yes. Bayern is also an honourable mention with several coaches rejecting them(including 2 who they sacked), and thanks their dinnosaurs everything goes public.
