  1. Ok, but City can actually say “fuck it, it’s just preseason”. They coach has been around for 8 years, most of the squad been together for many seasons, they are a great and established team. We are again a side with many new players and new coach, so it’s very worrying that 300 million midfield of Enzo/Caicedo/Lavia/KDH looks like some moron schoolboy team.
  2. We spent more money on central midfielders than their countries combined GDP, of course they are not. Ah, so it's not just me. Maybe he'll losen up a bit by time bit he is like the douchy kid with rich dad at school.
  3. Christensen is a skinny guy too, but he is doing quite well on the highest level of football. Also he 18 only, we still have time to fed him with some extra oatmeal for breakfast. Look at Kompany when he was at Hamburg as a youngster, he got much more built in years at City.
  4. Ten Hag seems to love players with respectable injury history and shiftly changing form, considering these he would really fit Manchester United better. Few days ago there were Marcos Alonso rumours aswell, that'd be funnier though.
  5. Well, he said he went to Marseille games to watch see Drogba, he didn't say he succeeded.
  6. By the way, where did the Duran links go south?
  7. Probably, but my point is, what was/is the plan with these guys? They were not globally highly rated talents, they were already 18 when we signed them, which means 1-2 years after that they should be at least taken into consideration to appear for the first team. But these guys.. are not close at all. I don't even see them playing in the PL. Players like Broja or Gilmour didn't happen to become world class but you can feel they were actually close to this level and they still play in fairly high level. But this Burstow guy, or Washington.. Cannot even see them thrive in Champo.
  8. Quite depressing to look at this list tbh. Matos, Burstow, Casadei, Richards, Samuels-Smith, Moreira, Washington.. All these guys were signed one year ago only, all around 20 years old and so far away from first team that they can’t even make the first cut in preseason - in a Euros/Olympics/CopAm summer. I understand academy products don’t always end up to be top players, and also there are some senior players who we need to get rid of(like Lukaku and Kepa), but above 6-7 players.. They were already 18-19 when we signed them and none of them seem to be even any close to Chelsea level.
  9. I think it’s because we keep spending hundreds of millions on guys like Badiashile, Fofana and Disasi who are all very disappointing. Chalobah has been a strong squad player, still be sold.
  10. It was before a Champions League game 😄 Fair play it was against Levski Sofia, I would have got hammered too, just to make things exciting. I lived like 10 years in Budapest which is very popular stag party location for fine English men, seen some shit. But Lampard and co. had easier time to maintain their prominent footballer role, Grealish and Walker couldn't escape live streams when wasted.
  11. “During the incident on September 12, Lampard and three team mates allegedly stripped, swore and vomited in front of US tourists” Too bad though!
  12. Everyone knows most of these pro football players are not the sharpest tools in the shelf but damn, how stupid you have to be to do this? I can understand when a player is video taped doing or saying something stupid, must not be easy being followed pretty much 24/7.. But live streaming yourself signing such a song? No red lights were flashing inside at all?
  13. Guys, anyone knows what this sticker means? Saw it Today..
  14. New squad numbers: Adarabioyo - 4 Colwill - 6 KDH - 22 Wes Fofana - 29 Kellyman - 37 Guiu - 38 Veiga - 40
  15. He might not reached his full potential but calling him simply shit is a bit harsh imo.. His g/a record in 5 top European leagues is quite respectable.
  16. Frankly I am happy with this. I like him a lot so didn't really want him to join one of our rivals, but after spending hundreds of millions on hardly ever available players like Nkunku, Wesley Fofana, Ugo, Lavia or Chukwuemeka. Perhaps it's smarter to stay away from a player who have more and more muscle injuries every season. Good luck ti him at Bayern though, gonna be an interesting team with Kompany.
  17. Been following Kerkez's carreer, I believe he would be a good signing. At AZ, he scored and assisted quite a lot, az Bournemouth he has had more defensive role, and his numbers were great in the PL. However, he tends to have bad games where he completely loses the plot and seems distructed after making 1-2 small mistakes. Both in Bournemouth or and NT he was supped off in such games. Quite similar to Cucurella.
  18. Previous "the next Mbappe" we bought has just lost his place in the shity Ukranian national team. This comparisions hardly ever come up good.
  19. What makes it OFFICIAL? A random dude being photographed in front of a container?
