  1. They are very different kind of players, you can't really compare them. Rakitic is an attacking midfielder, scores a lot of goals and creates many chances. Kroos is a central midfielder. Both Bayern and Sevilla play in 4-2-3-1, Rakitic usually plays behind the striker while Kroos is (in my opinion) better in the center of the midfield. He doesn't score too much goals but his passing accuracy is outstanding.
  2. Nothing.. Is he good enough or not, should he go on loan or not, fuck Torres. Same old, same old.
  3. Journalists like to make a big deal out of little thing and Morinho loves fooling them.. I don't think this old man thing was serious, his celebration against Spurs made it clear. Back to the interview: he said he was going to carry on playing in the Champons League. I wonder if it means that he extends his contract.
  4. I think calling Mourinho a fool is just a joke, just like Mou joked when he called Eto'o an old man. They seem to have a good relationship. More interesting is: What is your future at Chelsea? "I am going to carry on playing in the Champions League. Where? I am not going to tell you"
  5. I like Rodriguez better. He is more effective in attacking(7 goals and 10 assists this season, some of them from penalty) but he is also agressive and good at positioning. He is ready to shine in a top team. I haven't watched too many games of Moreno(yesterday he was quite weak IMO) but I would choose Ricky.
  6. I feel sorry for him.. He is so talented.. He had been considered as one of the most exciting talents some years ago. I wouldn't be surprised if he retired.
  7. I didn't say he would fail in Premier League or something, He is is obviously and outstanding player, but I still think that teams like Stoke, Crystal Palace and Aston Villa are way better than Augsburg, Hertha or Werder Bremen.
  8. Give him time. We signed him in the middle of the season from a much weaker league. He seemed to be nervous and selfish sometimes, obviously he wanted to impress Mourinho. He'll be better.
  9. I watched a 10 minutes long video of his goals and skills. The defence of weaker teams(Hamburg or Frankfurt) is a joke, he would never score goals that easily in the PL. But no doubt, his technique is outstanding and he is a clinical finisher.
  10. I just checked, Martins Indi played 26 games this season, 14 as a LB, 12 as a CB. More important, he usually plays as a CB in the national team. Blind played 29 games, 11 as a LB, 17 as a DM, 1 as a CB. I think he is likely to play in the midfield as Strootman is injured.
  11. Patrick van Aanholt has been named in the Netherlands provisional 30-man squad for this summer's World Cup in Brazil. The squad picked by Louis van Gaal has to be trimmed to 23 players by 2 June. There is only two left back in the squad(Martins Indi and PvA), so it's likely not to be dropped.
  12. http://www.whoscored.com/Matches/724024/Live Is he playing as a striker regularly? Maybe we don't want a number 10 but a 9.
  13. Not surprising.. He hasn't played a single minute since september(I mean top football, he played 2-3 matches for the reserves). He needs to keep working hard and try to convince José in the tour. I think he's gonna make it.
  14. They burn some Daily Mail and inhale the smoke. Ridiculous article.. To be fair he's been doing fine at Napoli but 26 million pounds for him is too fcking much. Also, we have five attacking midfielders/wingers in the first squad and players like Atsu, Piazon or petit Hazard on loan.
  15. Not a surprise.. He could perform better with his talent in my opinion, but congrats.
  16. A player that should have won ballon d'or? I don't know what do you think of.
  17. What? Do you think he was a proper number 9 or what?
  18. We payed 26 million Euros for him, he scored 25 goals in 71 matches and left for free. He was not as bad as the other number nines in the Abramovich-era but he wasn't a good signing at all. His goal against Arsenal in unforgettable though.
  19. Kezman, Crespo, Boulahrouz, Sidwell, Di Santo.. I think we should just retire number 9.
  20. I don't think so.. His shots were weak in the first half and he was also selfish, but at least he was trying hard(not like Mr. Hazard). In the second half he had some really good touches, Mourinho probably told him to pass sometimes.
  21. Southampton may expect 30 million pounds but I don't think any team would pay that much for him. I know that English players are overpriced, but there are a lot of young, talented LB-s in the market: Ricardo Rodriguez, Moreno, Alex Sandro, Kolasinac..
  22. He has had an outstanding season in Belgium, I don't think Eredivisie would be a big step. We should find him a Bundesliga or a PL team.
  23. BVB have an option to buy him and they probably will.
  24. And he is only 27.. He could easily reach 500 matches.
