  1. £13m + add-ons. Sell on value as well if he doesn't succeed here. Not sure what your point is though since the OP wasn't so much about cost as publicity I think.
  2. Porto try to get as much money out of their key players as possible, and so they should. Credit to them for running their club well.
  3. I want that photo of Torres and Mata with the Cup and the Spanish flag. Anyone?!
  4. ITV and ESPN this year. ESPN has FA Cup programmes all day.
  5. Yep. Hoping Roman lives up to his dodgy reputation by bribing all the right people.
  6. Could take any amount of time. Early days yet. Also, can't quite figure out how they're going to squeeze a football stadium into that site, but I'm sure they've done their research!
  7. I absolutely love the Bridge. Brings back so many memories every time I approach it and enter the ground. Going to my first games as a kid with family members who are no longer with us. Consequentially, the idea of moving to a shiny new characterless bowl doesn't really appeal at all, but it was always going to happen when further expansion to Stamford Bridge was deemed impossible. However, the article they posted on the site includes a few things that are really enticing about the proposal: Absolutely brilliant. Big fan of the famous chimneys, and was really hoping they'd be stay in tact. It might be a new ground, but Battersea Power Station is a pretty iconic landmark would lend a sense of history to a brand new ground that would initially have none. Great idea. Would do wonders for the atmosphere, which has often been weak at Stamford Bridge given the dispersal of the "noisy fans", move of the away fans to the Shed, corporate wankers and masses of tourists. I'm getting excited just thinking about it. Our very own Kop!? Lovely. Fuck off bowls. Early days yet but it's intriguing to say the least and I hope it comes off, providing the above ideas are actually followed through and they don't change their mind.
  8. Probably not other football clubs. There have been loads of other proposals for the site in recent times.
  9. We bested them over two legs. It was amazing and I'm still getting over it. Doesn't really mean we ARE "better" than them though. You should know that football isn't as simple as that.
  10. I'd rather Kakuta get a chance than spend £30m odd on Willian. Kakuta could still be absolute magic, and I bet he will be if he leaves. Absolutely no need for M'Vila whatsoever. Romeu and Mikel are good options at DM, and Romeu is not an alternative to Lamps anyway. You've also completely forgotten Ramires. Poor effort.
  11. Spot on, manpe. It'd also be a bit silly to suggest that all City offer over us is money anyway. Whether we like it or not, they're going to be challenging for trophies on a regular basis over the next few years and unlike us, they're guaranteed Champions League football next season. But yeah, let's call him a cunt purely because we're upset he's not coming to Chelsea.
  12. He's denied the rumours on his site: http://www.elpocholavezzi.com/per-chiarezza/
  13. I think it's been a decent start actually.
  14. Malouda needs to have a good game if we're going to win this. I, for one, have high hopes!
  15. Yeah, for about €75m. For that much, they're welcome to him!
  16. Really makes me sad to see what has happened to Essien. He was absolutely incredible a few years back. IT'S SIX! FLO.
  17. Team:Team v QPR: Cech; Ferr, Bos, JT ©, Cole; Ess, Lamps; Sturr, Mata, Kal; Torres. - subs: Turn, Hutch, Rom, Ram, Meir, Mal, Drog. #CFC(SL)
  18. Would love to see Hutch get a go, but I can't see it. Romeu is far more likely to partner JT I reckon.
  19. If we beat QPR today and Spurs drop more points at Blackburn, it's in our own hands. And Spurs are falling apart. So why not? We can do it. We can do it all!
  20. If Argentina win a World Cup and Messi plays a big part in that, he'll certainly be discussed in the same breath as Pele and Maradona. He's done everything else, breaking records at an alarming rate. Barring some sort of sudden decline, the international glory is all that's really missing.
  21. I can think of a few young German attackers I'd take over Müller tbh. All listed a couple of pages ago.
  22. Shaqiri is supposed to be going to Bayern I believe.
