  1. How can we be struggling in midfield with the players we have available, are those not injured pants at their jobs or what?
  2. and we're defending like pooh! Any team at the moment with the possible exceptions of Newcastle and QPR could run us close home or away and could get all the points. It's in their minds now that any lead can be taken away, there's no bloody grit in the team.....
  3. Exactly why I promoted the idea of Frank taking on the Makelele role, shielding the back four and from there distributing the ball forwards in the Stevie Kember style.
  4. Forgive me as I had miss filed this. I had wanted to start this topic as I'd become weary of people discussing the alphabet needs of our team in midfield. We don't need another bloody forward we need someone to replace JT. Someone who will take over from him and for godsake give us some stability in that position who will then give confidence and steadiness to the back four. All this desire for a CDM, AND THE REST OF THE BLOODY ALPHABET IN MIDFIELD IS PANTS if the back four are not a solid unit. I've suffered for my football following Chelsea since 1965. The manager cannot be responsible for the way the lads as individuals respond to a goal being scored against them. It should be bloody personal if someone scores against us. It used to be. Fortress Stamford Bridge my arse...Defence is where we should be looking to bolster not midfield. I did hope that The Legend that is Frank might adopt a role rather like Claude Makelele in his twilight years but Roman has got it in for him big time. That is the real position that needs filling and no-one seems to be available who is good enough.. Rafa is just another symptom of what is wrong at the Bridge at the moment, not the cause....

  6. full credit Pat Nevin for trying to point out the media went for the most imflammatory clip to air on TV..
  7. Wow, just wow!....I think that that sums it up nicely.....
  8. Talking of 'men vs boys', that's rather like the match last night
  9. would have had the same result,..a red card with his record for violence and criminal deception mate...
  10. at least the bal boy managed to hold on to the ball for a lot longer than some of our players. lol
  11. Stop beating around the bush and come out and say what you really mean. lol
  12. I've come late to this discussion and on reading back through some of the posts I feel that the should he go or should the legend that is Frank Lampard stay is moot. What I'm hearing or strongly hinted at elsewhere is that Romans has a long memory and he feels that Frank along with JT and Ashley Cole were the ringleaders in the conspiracey to get rid of Roman golden boy AVB and under no circumstances will Frank be offered a new contract of any length even if he were to smash BTs goal record this season. It's Romans club but it is pathetic to cut of your nose to spite your face....
  13. Have a lovely day petal, and I hope that you are treated royally. Rob
  14. Who on earth would not want to be called World Club Champions for christ sake, Bloodyhellfire!
  15. 1, Bobby Tambling 2, The Temple that is Zola......
  16. RDM called it right yesterday when he told the media that until they stopped making a song and a dance over it then the issue would not go away. I agree that Ferdinand senior is the driving force behind this. He hasn't got over losing the armband to a better man.
  17. Yeah....but Moses has a track record for parting the waves,...Jesus could only produce food and wine and Judas was only in it for the money........
  18. Yeah it's confirmed, Wigan have accepted a 9.3million bid and he is now discussion over personal terms........ .
  19. It wouldn't be the same but ....it would be great....but Roberto is our manager now and he, I think, will be rebuilding a team for the next 5-8 years.
  20. Let this be the end of this affair, I wonder what that great twitter brother Rio is saying?
  21. He's not exactly setting South Wales alight.is he. I like the choice of Lechtsteiner mate and he might relish the chance of playing in England. Sweeping off at another tangent is Wesley Sneijder still itching to move?
