I get what you are trying to allude to and while I don't agree with your assessment of the players, I do understand why you've made them. Any midfield that contains Cesc Fabregas and Eden Hazard would flourish with a player like Kante, he has been Matic on roids this year. Many have said Matic was the reason we won the title last year mainly because he broke up everything that came into the midfield area and protected that suspect back 4. I don't think Nainggolan is that type of player, and yes he is the better passer but nothing he does is on a level I would consider akin to a high level. Kante is otherworldly when it comes to breaking up plays and initiating the counter AND he's done it in the league many believe is the fastest. When you examine what this current team needs, I would say Kante is without question the player who will make us more formidable because what he does allows our best players to focus on their best attributes. Nainggolan is for me a better Ramires, he can recycle possession better and use the ball more than we've seen from Ramires.

So who are these players in World football? I look at the top clubs in the world and I don't see any that have high qualities in the DM role. Kante is better than Nainggolan if you ask me.

Has anyone pointed out he's been Dortmund's best player this season? He's been MotM 11 times the next closest is Hummels at 3! I'm not too sure about 60m but at the right price we could have something here. Oscar just isn't doing it anymore...

That could just be down to lack of football. Sharpness wasn't all there... I do agree though he looked in much better shape and HOPEFULLY this season will be a lesson to him. Your season doesn't end at last game, you have to work hard to keep in shape for the entire year! So that means hard work in the offseason to ensure you don't come back into camp an overweight out of shape useless footballer.

Its not about whether or not he can or can't get back there, its where he is now! No one in their right mind pays a mint for him on current form. And you really think we can't attract a player who has scored more than two goals?

You're right at the beginning of the year I would have said that about Alli, he forced his way into the squad though by taking the limited opportunity presented to him. That's what you have to do and its what the likes of Baker have to do. You force the team to pay attention to you then you snatch the opportunity to impress... None of the Chelsea youth players have yet shown they are ready to make the leap at 19-20yrs old. Ruben is the closest.

They aren't good enough. Good players but not yet at that high level, that's why I said you have to force your way into the side, besides this is what you want. I would rather these kids have to fight for a chance to get into the side.

And if he is good enough he will get into the team. if you have the skill set and the right attitude you will play.

So what? What's the harm with a young 19 yr old going out on loan? Many have done it before him. You come to Chelsea because you will always be pushed to reach the highest level of your potential. Whether he does that at the club or on loan the goal is the same, to find a way to push your way into the first team. I don't know of any top team in the prem that don't operate under the same policy...

Its not a question of his talent its mostly centred around his motivation.

And what about his form before the injury? What about his father's claim that he doesn't possess the mentality to be the best? What about him coming into a title defending season completely out of shape?

You can quote me if you like. This guy doesn't possess the mentality to boss a game when it really matters and for that reason alone I don't want him as the focal point of our team. Yes he can dazzle you with a dribble and put a couple past Sunderland but when you want him to show his quality against the elite he wilts. We should sell and look for another player to build around.

If he gets credited with winning us the title last year then sure his no goals in any prem games this year is reason to place some of the blame for this season at his feet as well? You can't credit him when things are going well and shield him when when they aren't.

Flop is probably too strong a word, lets just say he wasn't exactly the type of player you build a team around.
