  1. You're sounding like you got hate in your veins, what am I missing about this Brozovic character? I thought he was part of the best midfield tandem in the Euros and often stood out ahead of even Rakitic
  2. ummmm... Ya I'll have him. Wondering if anyone here saw him at the Euros? I thought he was fucking fantastic. Looks like an incredible squad guy who works hard for the team, defends, takes free kicks, can pass and has good technique... Haters what am I missing here?
  3. Doubt that highly its just supporters supporting.
  4. Someone looking for a little attention? What else can you say about this target?
  5. He is a fantastic player to have in the squad. If he's cool with more of a squad role I'd love to keep him
  6. Barbara, no offense, but your opinion is making you look like you don't know a thing about football and we all know that not to be true. It also reeks with personal agenda based on the strong stance you've taken on certain players and philosophies being employed. Oscar has looked very good under Conte, the Watford game was an exception and I would think the conditions made it harder to play the football we wanted(well that and the fact the Watford were playing in their home opener and were up for it) Matic is adjusting to a new role(like most) it will take time for him to get it right. What he does possess is the awareness to sense danger and some ability to snuff it out now and again. If he can get back to his 2015 form we're laughing with him and Kante. To my amateur eyes what Conte has done is made the midfield more solid and given the team a stronger foundation to build from. Oscar may not be the creative dynamo Cesc is but, in virtually every other category you judge a midfielder on he is pretty much head and shoulders above him. The midfield three looks a lot more fluid this year. There have been times when Kante has gotten forward and initiated attacks, Oscar has dropped back to compensate for gaps and Matic has done the same. All of this would be difficult to pull off with Fabregas marauding forward and when in defense, a walking sieve. Imagine him in the holding role and getting played around only to have Terry, Cahill and Ivanovic left to break up the attack.... Oh wait you don't have to imagine, that exact same scenario played out 100's of times last year. Bottom line is we need to build a solid base first, one where the XI understand what Conte is trying the implement. Only after they get that understanding is when it is ok to start tweaking it with the likes of Cesc and Michy getting more game time. I think the no.1 reason we are playing the formation we have been has more to do with our back 4 then it does our front 5. We will score goals but with Cesc in the side we will definitely be porous in the middle and ship a ton too.
  7. A massive tongue the back of his sack to all the armchair managers who slagged off Conte for his selections today. He got everything spot on today. Matic looked great, Oscar composed(except for when he thought he was Hazard) and Kante is becoming a king. Conte for life! Forza. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. Egg, meet the face of every supporter who slagged off conte for starting with the team he did.
  10. Could this really be happening? Are the dominoes actually gonna fall in our favour?
  11. Or maybe the fact that Arsenal are interested is a sign that he is utter garbage.
  12. I refuse to say one way or another but the fact that its been rumoured Napoli have tabled an extension with a buyout and nothing has come out about it being accepted and signed may mean there still is a crack open to push through.
  13. Okay I admit I clicked it... I'm getting desperate for good news!
  14. I think the market for quality defenders has gotten so small its forcing teams like us to break transfer records to sign them. David Luiz went for close to 50m and that was like 3 yrs ago. After the year Stone had you'd think he'd be a £25m player... Not the case. So imagine what teams who have similar ambitions to ours are asking for their top defenders?
  15. I think that says it all right there. If you guys were of the opinion that a lack of champions league football wasn't gonna be a problem well... Teams know we're desperate now and are asking the club to back up a Brinks truck to sign mediocre targets. We are no longer in a position to do that and its as clear as day. This was always gonna be a difficult window and not because of our board. Teams know what the Prem league's tv deal is worth, and also the amount of money we make in endorsements so they aren't taking any shorts.
  16. What you fail to understand is first, the player has to want to come. Second, the club has to want to sell.
  17. He looked pretty dejected when he was asked about it too. I'm starting to think we've exhausted all of our resources.
  18. I'm pretty sure he meant getting in our players and not our season objectives.
  19. He's not the greatest defender and isn't exactly the quickest either. He's a huge upgrade to what we have though
  20. Lets just sign him first and worry about the weight of expectations after.
  21. Yes but in Hazard's case he wasn't a one season wonder. Our terms is James wanting to join the club and Chelsea not going anywhere near anything north of 60m. Having said that our actual terms, meaning what Chelsea deem fair could be north of what I stated
  22. That was ages ago though. I want him but it has to be on our terms, nothing worse than getting mugged off in one window by Milan, Napoli, Torino, Everton and then finally by Madrid.
